Used to get a radio from dollar tree(r) for $1.00. and it ran on a aa cell . No speaker and a single ear phone. Still have one in my crash pack...might up grade hi hi
Not worth a couple of USD, IMO. All these 'cheap' radios are based on AM FM chip-sets... or a single chip... costing 10 to 20 cents. The audio amplifier for the speaker is likewise 10 or 20 cents. You're are paying (and the manufacturer paid for) the speaker, case, antenna, and controls. I'd say 90% of the cost of manufacturing the radio is those components. Radios based on FM AM chipsets, and audio chipsets, sound better with earbuds. It's just too expensive to design and manufacture a case with good acoustics, and buy a good quality speaker. If you want to listen to FM radio, use your smartphone's FM tuner. You can stream that to the Bluetooth speaker in your girlfriend's purse, if you want to make a racket.
Reminds me of the old days growing up. Loved those old pocket radios. For $5, looks like a good deal. Thanks for your review.
Reminds me of a small radio I would carry around with me to listen to sports on the go in the days before smartphones. Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the review. I can't really tell the size of these pocket radios until you see them handled. I prefer the larger size of our youth.
Definitely not bad for $5.00 I'd say. Thanks for your excellent review of this radio.
You can't ask much for a $5 radio
Not bad for a $5.00 radio. I still have to watch the Baijiali BJL-671 radio review. That one looks interesting.
I have one these radios got different brand name for the Italian market
