Really good video. I am struggling to set the scenario options on my app though. I live in one of the dirtiest cities in the world (Bishkek), one hour on favourite isn't good enough and nor is night mode to let me sleep at night. How do I set it to keep the air quality better than 50 at all times?
I would suggest simplified things a bit. Run it full power when you are not home and when you are around it set it to custom level and reduce the speed.

I have asked the local Mi store, and they said the 3H is a newer model and has an improved fan in comparison to the Pro, and capacity differences of course. The Mi Home app says that with the 3H I am getting PM2.5 reading, so not sure about the laser quality differences. Also, the Pro is not even listed on the official Xiaomi page at the moment.

First of all thanks for the video. I want to buy Xiaomi Air Purifier Pro (Non H version). Additionally I want to buy True Hepa (Hepa 13) filter (m8r-flh) to use wtih Purifier pro device. According to some sources all devices are using same filters but when I checking technical images of hepa 13 filter, its performance seems up to 380m3/h but pro devices performance is up to 500m3/h. My question is Can I use Hepa 13 filter (True hepa) with Xiaomi Air Purifier Pro (Non H) version 100% safely and efficiently ? Thank you.
If it physically fits then it's ok. It is normal to have lower air flow as the better the filter is the more restrictive it becomes. Thanks for watching my video

Salut, legat de filtru se poate reseta!..eu am reușit având in posesie un xiaomi mi air purifier pro (exact ca cel din video)...se face reset la fiecare filtru in parte; singuru lucru se refac setările la wifi!... Aceștia sunt pașii!...se pornește aparatul in Auto Mode, se tine lung apăsat butonul on simultan cu butonul din spate; cand se stinge se tine in continuare doar butonul din spate pana apare cercul roșu si scrie in chineza, se eliberează si butonul din spate; se lasă 30 secunde, după care se tine lung pe butonul on pana se stinge si se mai lasa încă 30 secunde după care se pornește aparatul si după alte 30 secunde se trage din priza in timpul funcționarii pt. A putea sa refacem conectarea la wifi...filtrul va apărea cu 100% ( am încercat cu filtru albastru si antibacterian; mov)...am găsit pe un forum si am încercat din curiozitate chiar daca filtrele erau la 71% cel albastru si 91% cel mov l.am schimbat pt. copil pe cel albastru..sper ca am fost de ajutor. ( butonul din spate l.am numit pe cel de aprins si stins display; NU ne atingem de cel de reset)

Filtrul la introducerea in aparat, la prima pornire aparatul va spune ca viața filtrului este de 100%...in timp va scădea procentajul!...Procentajul scade in funcție de gradul de poluare pe care îl detectează aparatul, si câte ore funcționează!...iar praf va fi in casa!...orice purificator nu ne scapă de aspirator...un purificator de acest gen va scoate particulele foarte fine de praf, polen, spori de mucegai; tot ce pluteste si este absorbit de aparat; gaze de eșapament, fum de tigara, si alte mirosuri in limita bunului simt! Daca se fumează in regim de bar, singura soluție este generatorul de ozon, dar in momentul funcționarii nu este indicat sa stam in prezenta ozonului...sunt altfel de aparate...

Nu vreau purificator ca sa scap de sters praful sau dat cu aspiratorul, dar multi se lauda ca se depune mai putin praf in casa. Ma intereseaza purificator pentru ca locuiesc in centrul capitalei, unde in 2-3 zile masina proaspat spalata are un praf de Sahara pe ea, o crusta, ceea ce in Pitesti nu se intampla. Cred ca o sa cumpar un kit de pe Aliexpress, cu filtru cum are Xiaomi si ventilator cu turatie variabila, e in jur de 35-40$, doar ca nu ai display si aplicatie care sa-ti confirme ca ai aer "purificat". Pacat ca Xiaomi nu ofera versiuni cu filtru HEPA din fabrica.

You have Auto, Night mode (slightly faster than minimum) and programmable custom. To adjust the "custom" you need the app, after you set it up you can manually switch modes without the app.

Because this air purifier measures particles up to (actually down to) PM2.5. The "smell" has particles smaller than 2.5, hence they are not detected. You could set the purifier to a manual profile with higher speed and let it run constantly to caboose most of the smell.

No this is as the name says an "air purifier", it doesn't make any ions or other gimmicks it just filters air very good stopping dust, pollen, bacteria, fungi, etc.

Too bad it doesn't have a tVOC sensor and histogram like Blueair. The sensor and display is quite slow and laggy. It will clean any visible smoke from cigarrettes but it doesn't care of remaining smell, so its not like you can smoke inside with this, it will still smell.
Yes, it doesn't have a histogram but the sensor and display work really good on this model. Also the air filter cartridge can be replaced with various types including active carbon and anti-germ.

Xiaomi have implemented this shit so poorly in to Google Assistant, they should have implemented it with the following voice commands and options but they haven't: Okay Google - Set purifier speed low Okay Google - Set purifier speed Medium Okay Google - Set purifier speed High Okay Google - Set purifier speed Night Okay Google - Set purifier speed Auto (As per the devices interface touch options) They also should have allowed the temperature sensor which is built in the Xiaomi purifier to be seen as a separate room temperature sensor in Google Home allowing us to get a reading. Currently the only way to get a reading of the temperature from the purifier device is to physically walk in the room its in and look at it or too open the Xiaomi Home app. The should have also included the PM2.5 Reading in google homes interface. Personally I think its some really poor integration on Xiaomi's part when all you can do on a smart device in 2020 is say device on, device off. WTF!
Maybe yes or maybe not. The new Pro H on the datasheet just has a slightly bigger flow rate. It also uses the same filtering cartridge so it might be an update, but not a game changer.
@@TechTronic9000 nah not at all. Uses totally different filter 100% proH filter weight is 500g more and significantly bigger size with alot more activatedcarbon also the proH moves 100CADR more, its also alot more quieter by a large margin. I have both and proH is heaps better
I just got a second one as the first one had a faulty sensor and I was unable to connect to it with the Mi Home app... Sadly second one also doesn't let me connect it to the phone... Many others reporting similar issues. Junk.

Face treaba foarte buna cand are de filtrat fum. Se poate sa fie nevoie sa il setezi pe mod "custom" cu o viteza mai mare.

No, this is just a purifier, it just cleans the air up to PM 2.5 and hepa.
How this compares with the 3h for odor? Dogs and cats and stuff.
Xiaomi has similar (if not identical) filter cartridges so the device only differs by flow volume and detection quality.

My Xiaomi Air Purifier PRO started becoming noisy after 6 months of use, is there a ball bearing that needs to be oiled maybe, anyone has an advice for me?
Probably the shaft bearing, might be an easy fix as just adding 1-2 drops of bearing oil, but never dismantled one...

Depends on the speed you choose to run it at. On auto mode when the air is clean you can barely hear it.
Is pro on sleeping mode loud?
no, you can't even hear it
It's a bit more faster than auto when PM is 001, but makes hardly any noise.

Momentan nu am de unde sa fac rost de unul, in schimb mai astept un senzor Xiaomi de PM2.5 dar mai dureaza pana ajunge.

It's your WiFi password of your network, you use that so that the purifier will connect to the WiFi and cloud - internet.

Too bad it doesn't have a tVOC sensor and histogram like Blueair. The sensor and display is quite slow and laggy. It will clean any visible smoke from cigarrettes but it doesn't care of remaining smell, so its not like you can smoke inside with this, it will still smell.
Yes, it doesn't have a histogram but the sensor and display work really good on this model. Also the air filter cartridge can be replaced with various types including active carbon and anti-germ.

Do you know why it gives off an occasional beep?
Maybe a WiFi signal problem? mine never made a sound beside the normal operating ones, it sits rather close to my WiFi router.

Am un amic cu iPhone și purificator același model, știu că și-a bătut capul o grămadă dar reușise să îl facă să meargă.

Da, purificatorul se leaga la WiFi, iar aplicatia Mi Home este de tip cloud asa ca poti sa il controlezi de oriunde din lume atata timp cat ai internet pe telefon si internet prin WiFi acasa.
Xiaomi have implemented this shit so poorly in to Google Assistant, they should have implemented it with the following voice commands and options but they haven't:
Okay Google - Set purifier speed low
Okay Google - Set purifier speed Medium
Okay Google - Set purifier speed High
Okay Google - Set purifier speed Night
Okay Google - Set purifier speed Auto
(As per the devices interface touch options)
They also should have allowed the temperature sensor which is built in the Xiaomi purifier to be seen as a separate room temperature sensor in Google Home allowing us to get a reading. Currently the only way to get a reading of the temperature from the purifier device is to physically walk in the room its in and look at it or too open the Xiaomi Home app.
The should have also included the PM2.5 Reading in google homes interface. Personally I think its some really poor integration on Xiaomi's part when all you can do on a smart device in 2020 is say device on, device off. WTF!
I don't use google home, i prefer the direct approach with Mi Home and it has all the features working that you don't get in the google home.
ProH is next level compared to pro
Maybe yes or maybe not. The new Pro H on the datasheet just has a slightly bigger flow rate. It also uses the same filtering cartridge so it might be an update, but not a game changer.
@@TechTronic9000 nah not at all. Uses totally different filter 100% proH filter weight is 500g more and significantly bigger size with alot more activatedcarbon also the proH moves 100CADR more, its also alot more quieter by a large margin. I have both and proH is heaps better
Well then I'll put it on my list and maybe get it reviewed.
I just got a second one as the first one had a faulty sensor and I was unable to connect to it with the Mi Home app... Sadly second one also doesn't let me connect it to the phone... Many others reporting similar issues. Junk.
