Thanks Cathy, something a little different for the channel. I thought it was a fitting end to summer. I'm completely excited for the fall season now planning some Big hikes, great content ahead! 🙂
Thanks, the drone definitely adds something, although to be honest, I feel like they weren't as impressive as I expected. I think the better views were actually from ground level which I would hardly ever say...
Well done. Love some of the drone shots. But my favorite shot is at 6:30. You walking the road with the sunflowers beside you and a beautiful sky above. Awesome 👍. You are correct being there makes you happy. Definitely one of my favorite places. A great day was had. Thanks for inviting me. 👍🙂🙏
You know I love this! And it's too far away for a ride out and back. I couldn't see this in its perfect peak bloom time but for you. The first view filling the screen, was where I stopped breathing. I love the drone! How one perspective is an organic and wonderful collection of sunny faces jostling together and the next angle is perfectly straight rows a mile long laid out in remarkable perfection that instinctively is satisfying. Just the sheer vastness is impressive to say the least. Sunflowers move thru the day to face the sun. The whole field together! That's a timelapse I am dreaming of getting one day. It's always awesome to meet up with friends. (Hi Dave!) Thanks for all you do. Peace & Prayers.
You know Dave mentioned that he thought they might move like that, and I said that would make an amazing timelapse, how ironic! Yes I am certain you would love this place Carol, I am glad I was able to catch it at peak. Thanks for stopping by and I love your comment here.
I’m so tickled at this film. @dayhikedave shared so much happiness with us when he filmed here. One of the best spots I visited this summer. Thank you for bringing it to life! You NEED to share this with Leeshers 100 percent. I think the sunflowers will turn their heads to face the sun as it rises and falls. Those drone shot showing the magnitude, way cool!!
Thank you Stacy. I told Dave when I saw him that of all the videos he produced in the last year and I got so many ideas from him for places to go - but of all of them his video from the sunflower field stuck with me the most. I knew a year ago I was going to film this place and use the drone if I could. Funny that it's my worst performing video in a long time, who knows... 🤷 As far as sharing, anyone is welcome to do that, I'm not really too sure how that works lol! I think I could have done a lot better with less people around. There were more folks than I expected so I kinda just captured as many shots as I could without a real game plan...
Dude this is spectacular people or not you are talented. Even the music fits the opening scenes like to the beat lol. It captures how I felt coming over the rise and being smacked in the gob with all that yellow.Sometimes the ones that are astounding goes unnoticed, have not figured that out. Bottom line is if you enjoyed it, oh and what a sky day
This was awesome. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers. The drone shots really help to give a sense of the number of sunflowers here. Fun to meetup with Dave here too. I watched his video too.
Appreciate that, that is the goal! It's hard to go wrong in a place that is so visually stunning, anyway you point the camera is going to look pretty good!
Now that’s a beautiful sight. Seeing so many sunflowers is just stunning. They all looked so healthy and perfect too. I knew this was the same place Dave did last year. Oh wow cool seeing Dave there. 👍30
Dave was standing in the middle of the fields most of the time I was there, no wonder I couldn't find him lol. Ever since his post from last year I was determined to go film there, it was super cool 😎
This immediately put a smile on my face, and you captured this place with perfection. I hope to check out an apple orchard near where I live because Fall is in the air and all the Pumpkins are out as well!
That was breathtaking. I always thought they turned their heads to follow the sun. Also, aren't the seeds black? Shouldn't the middle be black seeds? The birds love them.
As far as the seeds being black in the middle, that is how I always picture the "traditional sunflower". That being said, I am sure there are dozens of not hundreds of strains of sunflower at this point, so who knows.🤷
I just love sunflower fields! There is just something about them, that give me pause. I enjoyed watching this so much 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻 🌻
Thanks I am glad you liked it, it takes your breath away as you start to approach it in the car...
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I'd love to visit sometime.
End of August early September are the time to go. It's worth seeing for sure....
Great choice of music for this episode at such a magical place. The drone footage was awesome and the stills at the end. It does make us all smile.

Such a spectacular sight to see. Glad I was able to make it out to see if for myself. Thank you for sharing with us.
We probably passed right by each other!
This is beautiful. Love the perspective from the drone, and the music is peaceful.

So awesome! Love sunflowers! Thank you for letting us know about this place!
It's a cool spot to pair up with some other activities for a day trip for example. Always discovering new places to see in Pennsylvania!
Always stunning Walter absolutely stunning great work!
Thanks Tony, I really appreciate that coming from you buddy. 👍👍
Excellent drone shots. well done

What a lovely sight Walter, these shots are so touching and simply full of life! 🔥🔥🔥
It was a sight to be seen. I'm glad I had the drone with me to give the full perspective...

This is great. Will need to try and check it out next year.
It's definitely something to see...
Reminds me of Kansas
I drove through Kansas once. Once was enough lol
@@WALTERZOLNA I know same with Nebraska & Iowa

If I had to guess and I started thinking about it, there has to be several hundred thousand, I would love to know the actual answer myself!
I love sunflowers. They make me smile. Thanks 😊
I was grinning ear to ear the whole time I was there...
This Absolutely took my Breath Away! You always hit it right.
Every Single Time! ❤

Dave's video stuck out in my mind ever since I saw it a year ago I knew I had to check this place out.!
Have you ever travelled through North Dakota in August? Miles and Miles of farm fields of sunflowers! All turned toward the sun. Absolutely beautiful.
No I have never been to the Dakotas, but that sounds utterly amazing!
This immediately put a smile on my face, and you captured this place with perfection. I hope to check out an apple orchard near where I live because Fall is in the air and all the Pumpkins are out as well!
Fall is in the air is right. Especially I have been enjoying the cooler evenings, opening the windows and Adirondack dreaming 😉
You should have invited me to go with you.
Maybe next year...
@@WALTERZOLNA I was just teasing you.

Ugh....I was at Pole Steeple 2 weeks ago and forgot to plan a stop here 😢 next time...awesome video!
Next year around Labor day if you are in the area...
