Use cocopeat only for moisture loving plants with equal amount of soil and compost and make sure the good drainage system of pot is working. Cocopeat could not be the reason of root rot because it doesn't let the fungus grow in roots...
1/4 cocopeat/soil/compost/sand use karne me bhi pani sukhta nahi hai 10-15 din tak paani dalte hu drainout ho jata hai.......lekin pani 10-15 din tak sukta nahi hai to kya yeh normal hai k nahi...???
Cocopeat will not help in that case... You can use leaf mould compost. It helps in reducing the effect of strong fertilizers or just use the fresh garden soil for repotting.

It's not normal in summer for outdoor plants... If you are talking about indoor plants then it is normal and don't water until the soil gets dry.

Depends on the type of plant and amount of cocopeat you add in the soil. If the soil looks dry only then you should add water in any plant.
