Why do you want to stop? Please don’t. No matter how good your products are if you are not using a sunscreen you won’t see the benefits. No, E45 lotion should not darken your skin tone at all. In fact, it's not designed to have any effect on skin pigmentation.If you're using E45 during the day and spending time outdoors without sunscreen, your skin might be tanning or getting hyperpigmentation from sun exposure. This has nothing to do with the lotion itself. How long have you used the lotion?
If you mean getting your skin 2 shades lighter, no, E45 can not help you achieve that. It’s formulated to hydrate your skin and help you achieve a healthy glow.
If your skin is not glowing as much as you want, you can exfoliate and use sunscreen daily. If you still want to go 2 shades lighter, which I don’t really recommend, you can use E45 in the mornings and your brightening cream at night. Use sunscreen every morning. Most brightening/whitening products tend to rid the skin of its natural moisture. So use a moisturizer with it. Brightening products also make your skin more sensitive to the sun so use them at night and use your sunscreen in the morning. I hope this was helpful.

I don't know half cast lotion but I believe it can. E45 during the day and half cast at night follow up with sunscreen in the morning. Read the ingredients in your half cast lotion to be sure that they are safe for your skin especially over a long period of time.

The body oil you use will depend on your skin type. Vaseline oil for dry skin, Neutrogena oil for oily skin and Palmers cocoa butter oil for normal to combination skin. You don’t have to use these. Any oil that works for your skin will be great with this lotion. Apply lotion first and oil over it.
I use E45 sometimes..i just love how moisturising it makes my skin feel and it also gives the skin some kind of glow.
