Love the advent finishes. I did get it and unboxed the whole thing. They are on my to do list. I love the large Christmas finish you did. Absolutely beautiful. All the rest were nice as well.
Hi Katie, Because I am ADHD and 68 years old I have problems. This month I am working on Christmas 🎄 for Jingle Drills. Since my ADHD causes me to procrastinate, I need to give myself positive self thinking to work on this canvas. Maybe purchasing my birthday ( November 19th) and my Christmas presents for myself will help me. Congratulations on almost reaching 200 completion of Diamond paintings. Stay warm today.
The past few months have been extremely busy for me. So, there is not a lot of time for diamond painting. But in December, I get one whole week off from work and my masters program. 😂 So I am sure I will be spending a lot more time on diamond painting.
I know I probably say this often, but WOW! How?! FOUR FINISHES?! I can’t even finish one. I just gotta know, how much time do you spend actually diamond painting? I have a full time job, I’m in classes, an internship and I have a family and a five year old. I pray for more time and to be an octopus 🐙. Thanks for sharing!
You have got a lot going on. I work full time and have animals but other than that I have atleast 3 hours to myself at night where I have been choosing to spend the majority diamond painting. I've finished 6 30×40 paintings in November but now going to start doing some larger pieces and spending more time on one. As long as you are enjoying it-it will get done
It varies a lot! It’s usually a couple hours a day, sometimes more or less depending on my kiddos and other things I need to get done. Multiplacing helps too! Don’t pressure yourself though - you have a lot going on, and we all craft at our own paces! As long as you’re enjoying it, that should be the most important thing 💛
@@DiamondsandWashiit always amazes me as well how fast you complete kits. I am one of the slowest diamond painters ever but I single place and I don’t diamond paint during my college semesters. 😂 but speed doesn’t matter I just enjoy the process
I’m so glad you enjoyed cozy Christmas. I often do kits out of season just for the sheer fact that I enjoy the painting. I am a slow diamond painter. My only goal that I set for myself is to try to go into 2025 with not starting a new kit until I finish all of my WIPs, well, almost all of them I know I’m going to go into it with at least one
I love 'month in review' , it highlights all the ups and downs of different kits. In November I finished my first DAC, Space for reflection, my biggest one to date, and I loved it so much, the scene just speaks to me❤ I'm working in Snowman from the Advent, and the Christmas tree is in plans. I like spoilers 😂 they make anxiety go away for me
Wow! You finished Cozy Christmas really fast! 😮 I started thr same day you did and am only halfway. Kudos on your finish 👏 Your temperature dragon is turning out so pretty.
I am working on DAC's Chance Encounter by Nene Thomas. It is the largest diamond painting I have done to date 95 cm x 70 cm and I started it on 8/21/24. I am only 2/3's of the way done. I am possibly the slowest diamond painter ever! I am just enjoying the process lol. I am always amazed at how quickly you are able to get your diamond paintings done. I have been diamond painting for a little over a year. I hope to be like you when I grow up as a diamond painter, Katie! 😉
I got overzealous with events. I signed up for 4! I did finish my Spangler ! 🐉I dropped two completely and then ended up pulling out an unfinished Christmas kit from Distract By Diamonds from last year’s Jingle Drills. I don’t know if I will finish this year’s JD kit or not. So I have two Christmas WIPs-2 very different color pallets …and one square and one round…at the moment and I am quite happy.
Would love to see your Rainy Day stash at some point! I love month in review videos for the same reason! I snagged a Paint Gem kit that I have just been LOVING. But about to move so not sure we will have a whole lot of time to Diamond paint
I started Turkey for Thanksgiving by Randal Spangler on Nov 19 2024. It is 125 cm x 56 cm. It is the largest I have done to date. I am just shy of half completed. I am a one at a time project person and a single placer for squares. I am retired but can’t always spend as much time working on it as I would like as I am the sole caregiver for my husband who has rapidly progressing dementia. I am not sure how I would cope without D P. Love your channel and your honestly about your challenges. I also received a free channel membership.
I can’t believe you finished cozy Christmas in 3 weeks and think that took a long time 😳😂😂😂 I’m slow though 🤷♀️😂 the stitch along thing is so neat and turning out so pretty!
I loved this Katie! Now I want that Rita Konya Christmas painting! Have you ever thought about seeing if we could get a group together for a future DP Along? That really interests me! Loved this!💕💕🎄🎄
Well I didn’t finish anything in November I just finished one of my wips yesterday ! It was Magic Portals by Enys Guerrero it was beautiful. Going into December marks 3 years of diamond painting for me so that’s exciting!
Hi Katie, I want to do the temperature chart next year also, can you link the shop that you buy the chart from? Thank you ❤ nvm I see it in the description 😊 see commenting before finishing the video 😂
Not usually, but occasionally I do if the glue isn’t super sticky or the drills want to pop. I use Minwax Polycrylic in clear gloss if I do seal a kit!
Good morning ☀️! I was wondering 💭 if you know how often Diamond Art Club restocks? I am new here. I didn’t know they would drop more paintings on Cyber Monday day. And there is o e I really want! Thank you
I think it kind of varies! It can be a few months (or more) between restocks of a specific kit. They seem to do restocks of various kits once a week-ish!
I don’t think so - snakes aren’t a subject I usually gravitate toward like I do with dragons, but it’s a fun idea! Maybe another diamond painting creator will! ☺️
Love that dragon kit! It’s actually from my favorite movie Spirited Away (same director that created Kiki’s Delivery service!) The dragon is actually a boy named Haku, but he turns into that river spirit 😁 highly recommend Spirited Away if you haven’t seen it!
i thought the diamond artisan one looked familiar then i saw that the artist also licensed the artwork for a smaller version on diy-amond delights website as well!! beautiful work as always! ❤
Usually I just have one main project going, and then a couple of smaller long-term projects like the temperature dragon and the SAL! Sometimes I’ll have two main projects going at once, but I like the focus of just one, when I can ☺️
Loved this video! Cozy Christmas turned out beautiful! So glad your worked on it and finished it!❤
I loved the ones that came out of the advent calendar
That dragon kit is GORGEOUS!

Ha. Same. I really have enough stashed away to last me a long time. I’m probably going to have 7 finishes…. For the year 😂

I'm lucky if I finish one a month and it's just me, but I'm always working.

I started Cozy Christmas on 11/2 and am about 2/3 way through. I work full time though so I don’t get to work on it all the time. I LOVE it so much

I had 2 finishes in November: Side by Side from DAC and London Scene from Diamond Dotz. I also did 2.5 rows of Winter Scene from DAC.
Pretty finishes, I have that snowman but is a diamond dotz I got last year is so cute! Now I might do that next.
Wow! You finished Cozy Christmas really fast! 😮 I started thr same day you did and am only halfway. Kudos on your finish 👏 Your temperature dragon is turning out so pretty.
Phew! I wish I could finish a piece of Cozy Christmas in 3 weeks - I love this piece!

Four!!! I get one to 2 at most ! The big Christmas one is gorgeous!!! I love it! (Especially the cats on it)

I used the red tape on that one too. It's so pretty.
That Christmas girl one would have taken me 3 years not 3 weeks. You’re incredible! 😮 no excuses needed for it taking 3 weeks 😄
I'm doing Frosty Dragon SAL as cross stitch, an additional hobby I recently decided to add to my list of things I wish I had more time to do lol
❤
I can’t believe you finished cozy Christmas in 3 weeks and think that took a long time 😳😂😂😂 I’m slow though 🤷♀️😂 the stitch along thing is so neat and turning out so pretty!
3 weeks seems really fast for a large painting like the Rita Konya! It’s a beautiful painting and probably would have taken me about 5 weeks.
I loved this Katie! Now I want that Rita Konya Christmas painting! Have you ever thought about seeing if we could get a group together for a future DP Along? That really interests me! Loved this!💕💕🎄🎄

You completed Cozy Christmas so quick! I've been trying to math out how much I need to do each month to have it done by *next* Christmas 😅
Pretty finishes

The dragon kit looks so cute 🩷 Do you seal your diamond paintings with something (Like mod podge or something like it) when you're done with them?
Not usually, but occasionally I do if the glue isn’t super sticky or the drills want to pop. I use Minwax Polycrylic in clear gloss if I do seal a kit!
Good morning ☀️! I was wondering 💭 if you know how often Diamond Art Club restocks? I am new here. I didn’t know they would drop more paintings on Cyber Monday day. And there is o e I really want! Thank you

recomendations on where to get glitter washi. I know this was in the advent kit but I bought some off temu and it wont stick to my canvas.
I recommend Simply Gilded, Scotch Expressions, or Amanda Mischell! Washi is by nature lower tack but sometimes these stick a little better.
Will you be doing year of snake 2025? If so, are there enough snakes?
I want to see this
I don’t think so - snakes aren’t a subject I usually gravitate toward like I do with dragons, but it’s a fun idea! Maybe another diamond painting creator will! ☺️

Yes! It’s at the top of my list to watch 🥰 I love Miyazaki’s work and feel guilty I haven’t gotten to this one yet!
@@DiamondsandWashiyes it’s so good!! You’ll love it! Glad to see Diamond Artisan has more Miyazaki kits I’ll have to add one to the stash
i thought the diamond artisan one looked familiar then i saw that the artist also licensed the artwork for a smaller version on diy-amond delights website as well!! beautiful work as always! ❤
Yes! I’ve been looking at those, too. I love both shops!
Do you work on one canvas at a time or multiple
Usually I just have one main project going, and then a couple of smaller long-term projects like the temperature dragon and the SAL! Sometimes I’ll have two main projects going at once, but I like the focus of just one, when I can ☺️
I just bought 7 paintings from cyber Monday what do you mean there’s something coming you’re gonna need to work on we have the same taste 😂😭
💜💚🩷
