The 2002 SC final was indeed a sickener but the Hartson disallowed goal at Hampden was in the 2003 LC final.
To this day it is the most blatantly onside "offside" goal I've ever seen. I was sitting right in line with it, in the south stand also.

Re the stadium - you'd "fill it" with 10k season ticket holders. Not many of the extra 10k would buy a season ticket and not turn up! Either way it's banked money.
After Saturday clear out the deadwood and trim the squad , bring in proven quality, weed out the trouble makers involved in the GB then move forward full steam ahead,all together.

The highlight of the season for me was the Hun podcasts in unison, blaming ACSOM, and especially PJD for directly influencing the Officials in the country to be pro-Celtic!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Arguably the biggest meltdown on record! 😂😂😂
The reason rebuilding the South stand would "only" bring capacity up to about 70,000 is because the current south stand already holds 8,000 or so.
So if we knock down the current south stand, that'd leave us with 52,000 seats (give or take). If we then built an 18,000-20,000 stand in its place that'd bring the capacity up to 70,000 or so.
I think we need to keep an eye on how this expanded Champions League goes as this could be the first of several baby steps towards some sort of European League with 20-30 games per season. If we were involved in something like that on a regular basis then expanding the stadium becomes a no brainer and we'd also have various outside investors queuing up to fund it.
But as it stands, I can't see that there is much demand for a 70,000 arena to see us play Motherwell and the like twice a season
If we make the stadium complete. It will block out the sunlight hitting the grass on sunny days. Look at it now,it casts a shadow almost half way across the grass.
No it wasn't. The hartson disallowed goal was in the cis league cup final Celtic 1 Rangers 2 the days later hartson scored that goal at anfield. It wasn't in the 3-2 game.

Jp do you think when ange left and brendan returned we upgraded to a better manager ? I wouldn't go that far. Higher profile yes but I thought ange had us playing the best football prob since the time of O'Neill. Only criticism was that he was maybe a bit too one dimensional.
I remember that 2002 final well. Had a ticket but was unable to attend as started a new job that day I couldn't get out of and had attended about 40 games that season aged 20 and thought maybe it's time to lay off it a bit 😂

Brendan Rodgers lost an 8 point gap and this poor Rangers side overtook in the league thankfully Rangers bottle crashed at Dundee and Ross county and we also struggle to beat a very poor ten Rangers at home on title decider day. Brendan is under severe to win this cup on saturday by a convincing, he has got to destroyed Rangers on Saturday.

this is only my opinion Brendan Rodgers time at Celtic is up unfortunately, am fed up watching rotten football, its doesn't suit kyogo, we cant afford to have another season like this again.

He has had to work with players who don’t know him more than half his squad injured throughout the season, key players long term ccv,reo lack of Jota and opponents figuring out hit the back post he got us through it and by skin of teeth or 8 points it doesn’t matter it’s done judge him at the next season when it’s his team
