As a Kenyan, I've been very uneasy about the approach taken by Uhuru, Museveni and Kagame. As good neighbors we cannot leave TZ behind. We need to address the concerns they have and find solutions that work for all countries.

If Kenya wants to join only UG n Rwanda then am pretty sure its all coz Kenya is selfish, comparing to UG n Rwanda its obvious only Kenya will gain, so taking TZ out of the game will b a win.. As a kenyan i agree with you mr president you are right, the east african comunity should proceed as was agreed on and not coalition of the whilling,haraka zao hazina msingi wowote,suluhisho wa umoja wakudumu ni kwa pamoja,to me kenyan, ugandan and rwandan presidents seems to be lucking quality leadership........your speech makes sense.

No pun intended but Tanzanian government is permanently on vacation. If u wanna prove it go there and try to get any public service. It does not exist without bribery, worse still these guys are not agitated to do something about it. Kenya and UG n the rest want to move out of this western neo-colonialism begging mentality. Tanzania is one of the richest countries in minerals in Africa but they are so behind. At least now they are smelling the coffee. Wake up n catch us if u can!!
You want Tanzana to wake up up and catch you, as if you yourselves have moved any mile. Tanzania is being so cautious and any move needs to ensure peace, equal opportunity and unparasitic relationship. Tanzania has a good experience in unions, following her union (Tanganyika and Zanzibar), which also has never been very easy. Tanzania played the biggest role in re-awakening the collapsed EAC, and as Kikwete says, Tanzania has always been a faithful and obedient member. One of the newest members, Rwanda, is trying to make the EAC, that apparently he never took part in building, to collapse. Tanzania is there to stay, EAC needs Tanzania.
