Star drops are needed for Perfection, yeah Edit: As for the minerals and all, the tricky part would be acquiring the 60 without advancing your mining EXP for Geodes, a tough kind of battle but some decent rewards from Gunther if you can scrape them together
Ya it’s for sure gonna be a challenge to collect 60 goods to give to Gunther. Even if I only use geodes and gems I fish up I’d still be 7 shy of 60 as there is only 53 minerals to donate so I’ll eventually need to dig up some artifacts. I might need to wait till I have my foraging and mining skills at Level 10 to really invest in the museum.
Fish adjacent is a tricky slope, but given it progresses the Forage XP, it would then set you to a cumulative level where you wouldn't need as many books! BUT! I would say if you can somehow do it to a point where the amount of books remains the same (So you spend the same amount but still get some forage exp) then it would be fair game since it's extremely limited and kinda dangerous given if you go over... it's grounds to reset the day or even the run I'm also interested in the thought of how far along the fishing track you're going to go as all fish caught gives around 10% listed on the wiki I'm new to 1.6 and the waivers and stuff but given the only thing you're allowed to do is fish I wonder what your take on it is?
Another idea could be that you outright buy a book to keep it all the same cost but can opt to keep it in a chest, and then actually forage the stuff for the equivalent exp, that or buy multiple books as a sort of cost vs value of resources assessment for QOL
Ya I appreciate those thoughts! I’ve been pondering purchasing an extra book after I’ve made it to mastery in everything because then I’m spending the money but for sure not getting the xp. I’ve also been thinking I could just pick up the few forage I need for crafting the bait maker which would mean I’m getting minimal xp from it. As far as the perfection side of things my plan is to catch all the fish and advance that 10% through fishing, in my mind this goes along with the rules of the challenge because it is still fishing my way to perfection. But if there’s pushback on that I can rethink that plan as well.
@@yetispaghettie I remember watching a Low % run at one point by Salmence, maybe there could be some tech to learn there, (Not sponsored, it's just cool) But I do like the idea of Post Mastery book buying and stuff, it sets a good challenge period at the start and eases up into QOL as you have to achieve the big goals with money
As far as the museum goes only collecting the stardrop at the end should affect your perfection tracker

You can also hoe up artifact spots for no exp
@@levifriesen8387 15 XP sadly, for seed and artifact spots

I’ll have to check that Salmence run!
