Anuji is film industry's real gem. Pls give your music in films. For last 7/8 yrs I have stopped listening to music. Because there is no poetry, meanigful or sweetness in the songs. Pls Anuji I'm begging you to play the music again... I'll go to the store again and buy a cassette
This podcast was 50% conversation and 50% Anu singing loudly. Loved it.
Never seen any interview of other Bollywood composers who compose instantly when given random lyrics.. Been a fan of Anu Malik from Sohni Mahiwal. No one can survive in the industry for 4 decades without talent.. He has composed numerous hits but he also has composed great songs for flop films like Ashoka, Radha Ka Sangam, Jaanam among others. Let's appreciate his talent for giving us some memorable songs .

@@DeVibe bro A.r.Rahman just started his career then..and have done few hindi movies at that time..And The Gentleman was a remake and some songs were reused in Hindi not copied same with Virasat some original songs were reused of Iliyaraja.It so simple to say copy but for your information Music credit also given for the Music production and music arrangement for that song.

I was at a karaoke bar in Thimphu, Bhutan in 2017. As soon as I sang the first song, the Bhutanese DJ came to me and asked if I know Sandese Aate Hain and if I could sing with him. He immediately went in, played the track and both of us sang this song. What a memorable moment that was! A song created by individuals unknown to me, I am singing in a foreign country, along with an unknown person.
I love the line, tu hoga zaraa paagal, tunay mujhko jo chunna... Uff. ❤ beautiful lyrics, music n vocals. Brilliant 💖

Initially I never had much respect for Anu Malik as Music Director because many people in film industry and outside film industry use to say he is copy master n all. But after Border my views for Anu Malik really changed beside Border many other movies songs he made were fantastic.
