Thanks for watching! Easter is so much fun at the Tokyo Disneyland Resort... but now I NEED to visit during Halloween! Which Celebration would you like to visit TDLR during?!
I've been during the Easter and Christmas events and though it was great seeing the parks decorated for the Christmas season and seeing the guests all decked out for dates at the parks (Christmas is more of a romantic holiday in Japan) I think that I preferred Easter just because the crowds were smaller. I'd like to check out the summer celebration like Ionic Jyappi said but the Tokyo humidity scares me. As a California guy, I'm admittedly a 100% weather wimp and I just don't function very well in humidity. Orlando and Hong Kong humidity were both a test for my weather tolerance and I failed both miserably. I don't think that I'd do too well in Tokyo humidity, unfortunately.
Book flights and hotel early. Hotel must be as close as possible to the resort. Buy your park ticket in advance on their website and bring a printed copy with you. Bring as much money as you can because you are going to want eat and buy alot. Whatever experience, character meeting or ride you want to do..do it first. Hire a portable wifi to bring with you. They have a park app. They have a today guide with photos of merch and park maps. Pick them up. If someone does not speak English use Google translate. Totally go..you will be fine 😁
Official hotels are so nice it’s expensive though 💸 In the parks I recommend to eat at Japanese restaurant ‼︎ Hokusai (Disneyland) and Sakura(Disneysea) both are so yum!
On my visit to Tokyo Disneyland, I went on Star Tours and had a scene from Last Jedi. It was really cool, we flew through the battle on Crait. This was my very first experience on any Star Tours ride and it was pretty cool hearing the characters in Japanese!
GAH! This is killing me! I had no idea how much I missed being at Tokyo Disney until watching this. You DEFINITELY Have to visit in October. They really do it well. (just like everything else they do)
We had that part at the end with the paint on the screen too once in DLP and the next time, we had the exact same 'ride', but at the end the tip of the nose did crash through the screen...scared the crap out of me haha :p
I’ve seen both versions of the Naboo Star Tours with the broken screen and yellow paint in CA, but as of recently it seems like Disneyland went back to the broken screen version again. Though it’s rare to not see the new Star Wars movie versions.
This trip looks AMAZING!! Wow so jealous! We LOVE Disney but have never gone to any of the parks outside the US. Everything just looks SO cool! Thanks for sharing, great video! 💗
The Naboo scene changed I would say in Hollywood Studios. Last time I went the Naboo scene changed to the droid throwing paint instead of the ship breaking the glass.
My partner and I rode Star Tours like 8 times when we were in Tokyo Disneyland in March, and we got all kinds of different ride sequences, including the new stuff too.
@@PatrickDougall Japanese Star Tours has 384 patterns of route since it was updated a few years ago. Every time you ride the ship, you usually experience new route.
This is so funny, I was just thinking about you and your old Tokyo Disney videos last week! Now you're back, back, back again. Love it! And yes, how well behaved everyone is is one of my fav things about TDL.
Went to Disneyland last week here in LA and noticed that the fluorescent paint on the ghosts in Haunted Mansion was so much brighter! Looks like they finally gave it a touch up! I was SHOOKETH.
Thank you for the video! I remember watching your very first trip to Tokyo Disneyland on UA-cam because you and your friends went there a few days right after my wife and I also went there for the first time. Our vacation and your vacation overlapped by a few days at the resort but we didn't see you or your friends there. We haven't been to Tokyo Disneyland since our second vacation there in early December 2018 and we *REALLY* miss it. Ever since we set foot in the parks there, our perspective on Disney parks and on the US Disney parks in particular has been changed forever. I grew up going to Disneyland and it will always be sentimental to me but I'm sorry...Tokyo Disneyland has completely stolen my heart. They just know how to operate (and most importantly maintain) a theme park over there. People are free to disagree with me and I'm cool with that but Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea have totally raised the bar in my book. OK...time to start shopping for a flight to Tokyo! Thanks for reminding me that it's been WAY too long since we went there!
You know, I rode Star Tours many times over at Disneyland Paris and in there, we get both the ship crashing though glass ending AND the yellow paint ending too. I don't think the Tokyo version was altered in any way, it's just a matter of chance. You might get the other ending if you ride again.
Apparently that paint splatter thing is just an alternate ending and it happens at Anaheim Disneyland too! I was mad because the crashing through the windshield was my favorite and I thought they replaced it but I guess they just rotate the two haha
Star Tours in Tokyo Disneyland has multiple Star Wars projections including one from The Last Jedi. There are also multiple Naboo endings too. You have to ride it a bunch of times to see them all.
OMG I NEED THAT TOY STORY POPCORN BUCKET !!!! 🙌🙌😭 Tokyo Disney has all the best stuff 😊 I’m also glad they have take home Disney soap now , something I need haha
Can I please go Tokyo Disney with you!!!!😱✨ I always go there 2 or 3 times every month and I love how you praise Tokyo Disney! I wanna go there with youuuuuuuu
I love this video. I hope to vist Tokyo disneyland someday maybe in a couple years I'll go vist there. also do they have English language on rides there and do workers speak English too.
The rides are in English, a mixture of both, and just Japanese. Almost every cast member can understand most english. I've had no language barrier problems in the park.
They say that the Japanese star tours they play a set of three scenes and each scenes has five different comeout (Im not sure if that was 3 o 5...anyway) so it’s kind of like a lottery:)
the little egg guys are pronounced USATAMA or OOSATAMA, and is a combination of the japanese words for egg and rabbit! will be moving to japan for two months in May and am super excited to go to the parks!!
Thanks for watching! Easter is so much fun at the Tokyo Disneyland Resort... but now I NEED to visit during Halloween! Which Celebration would you like to visit TDLR during?!
The summer festival for sure! Saw the sansui and now this year is Donald theme.
Ionic Jyappi Yesss, I saw the Donald theme it looks so cute!
Patrick Dougall i work at star tours paris and you have different endings or the ship goes throug the window or there is the paint!
Hello Pat Happy Easter ! Big Hug

Tokyo’s food and Disney merch is next LEVEL! I wish the US would step up their creativity like this!!!! 💖😭
Truly!
Even the fuzzy characters step it up, and have more available. Also no one tops their parades!
I am very happy to see foreigners enjoying Japan.😍
キエだよ♂♀ Always! 🤗
the daddy jacket im SCREAMING
That safari guide is spot on! His acting and impressions were so fun
Truly!
Halloween is amazing as guests are allowed to dress up - seriously incredible costumes and every obscure Disney character imaginable.
Got the pleasure of being Alice, Wendy and Tink back in 2000. Yes I’m old! 🤣 Thanks for these videos. Brings back awesome memories
The little egg guys are called Usatama! (Oo-Sa-ta-ma) it’s a combination of the Japanese for rabbit and egg (Usagi Tamago) it’s super cute!

I also recommend Tokyo Disney SEA.
(Both are amazing!)
Welcome to Tokyo Disneyland!!

Love all the spring and Easter special characters they have. The Egg Bunnies and Chick Bunnies are so cute!
Getting those small glimpses of Michael is giving me life!!

That is one of the Easter Egg scenes at Star Tours. They have multiple endings/scenarios in Naboo and others as well!

Such a dream to visit Tokyo Disney! Some day 😭

Thank you for sharing this! So cool to see another Disney park!
I have seen that version with the yellow paint before of Star Tours in Disney World. I want to say it was the original version from the early 90s.
I get serious fomo when Tokyo disney puts out new merch and festivals which is all the time. I love it and miss it soooo much ❤°○°
Lucia's Memory Ln SAME!
My partner and I rode Star Tours like 8 times when we were in Tokyo Disneyland in March, and we got all kinds of different ride sequences, including the new stuff too.
Ah nice!
Holy cow! The crowds there!!
Actually wasn't that crowded.
I've seen both Naboo endings in the US parks. I was confused the first I saw it not crash through too.
ReturnOf2008 right?!
@@PatrickDougall Japanese Star Tours has 384 patterns of route since it was updated a few years ago. Every time you ride the ship, you usually experience new route.
9:00 That scene that you described experiencing in Tokyo Disneyland's Star Tours is actually also in Disneyland's Star Tours as well.
So I've heard!
This is so funny, I was just thinking about you and your old Tokyo Disney videos last week! Now you're back, back, back again. Love it! And yes, how well behaved everyone is is one of my fav things about TDL.
Happiest Place Truly!
9:07 Yeah, the described ending can me found in Florida's Disney World.
Tip: Ride jungle cruise at night. It’s wayy better and they change it up a little bit between day and night
You should definitely come back to Tokyo Disney resort next year. Huge construction is going on right now.
Yeah! Gotta come back for Beauty and the Beast!
