As I say in the video, weapons are not about healing, you play them only for the utility they provide. I also run a Dagger on the other set. The Pistol here has a decent CC skill, provides good life force and a bit more damage than Dagger. Dagger has a lot more life force (at melee range), a boon corrupt and an immobilize. Mainhand Sword is useful for mobility if you wanted to bring that.
On the website there are three trinkets with Giver`s stats to increase toughness. Don`t we want to avoid a higher toughness value instead because of the aggro mechanics of some bosses in the end content or have I misunderstood something?
Well, you see one player **has** to be the tank. Would you want this to be a quasi-immortal build like this one? I would say yes. On the website, there is a specific, low amount of toughness to make sure you are the tank if nobody else has toughness, but also to make it easy to let someone else tank if they so choose (it's far harder to reduce toughness if your entire gear is invested in it. Having a few pieces is no problem to beat in terms of toughness value for the other tank). The reason I have a lot of toughness here (and when I play this build in raid too), that this is one of the best tanks you could imagine. The toughness is the point, not an accident.
I talk about weapon choice in the video. I don't think Staff serves any particular purpose but in the end as long as you have a plan for why you use a certain weapon, nothing can stop you. Just think about what you want to bring and then use it. Reminder that Staff takes away Torch 5 from your skillbar so it can negatively impact your might output.
I`m still using scepter/torch plus staff either ... and the elder "Ultimate Carry Plaguedoctor Scourge" build by MightyTeapot and I`m quite effective with this furtheron. Of course I will give this build shown a try.

You don't want to know how many ToF CM runs have failed to "experienced" Heal Scourges not pressing F4 for healing.

Quick question. Why is it Dagger/torch on the homepage but you seem do be using pistol/torch in the video? Wich one is better?

@@MrJueKa i swapped staff for dagger and i kinda like the extra boonstrip, but as the man said everything is viable in the right situation
