We've purchased 4 of these since your video and obviously, we're really happy with them; thanks!
Wow, great to hear! I'm still very happy with it also. It's the one I chose to keep in the new studio permanently.
How are these purifiers. Do you still like them 5 months later?
Looks great and affordable.
Great video as always Shane, we have two molekules which work fine but the filters are stupid expensive, like $130/yr, so this might be a good alternative.
Excellent video. 👍🏾
Thank you! 😊
Does this help like with allergy season m specially like pollen 😂. Looks great, think I’m going to get one. Excellent review 🎉
I found these and ordered one several weeks ago, and then ordered a second one … working great for us
Great to hear. Thanks for sharing!
Are you still liking these purifiers? I’m thinking about ordering one.
@@grizzlypaws461 Yep, just got some new filters, which last a long time. We found we can vacuum the filters in between changing them out for new ones, which works for us to extend life. They work well and collect a lot of particles.
I like non homekit version of air purifier. Cheap, more effective and do its thing automatically. The app urge me to check it often and make it an everyday task😅. The only good thing about the homekit integration is it extend mesh network.
Looks awesome, shame it isn't available in Australia
Have there been any more features added to HomeKit since you made this video? Have you been using it in your home? I’m thinking about getting one but wonder how it’s holding up.
Thanks Shane as always. I'm curious to get your take on this vs. the Sensibo Pure? Which as of recently has started to act a bit buggy and I might be looking for a replacement.
Sorry but I have not used the Sensibo, personally. But I can say that I've been happy with this Airversa.
2 Videos per week?! I like it.
Haha every now and then I'm able to sneak a second one in there! 😉 Thanks for watching!
Anyone know what Night Guard is? It just showed up as a scene in the Home app without me doing anything to create it. I did a google search and there is no mention of it anywhere.
I'm waiting for someone to build a HomeKit air purifier that gives me control over the display lighting. For example, when I say, "Hey Siri, goodnight" I want the air purifier to turn off the display, and set the fan speed to 30%. I don't suppose the Airversa does that?
Would I be able to ask Siri to set a (for example) 3 hour sleep timer for the air purifier? Or would I need to go into the app to do that?
Does it keep a history of air quality ?
Hi Shane! Still using it? Still working properly?
How long does the filter last before needing to be changed? Say if you use it everyday?
@@latinokid33 thank you for the answer :)
Bought 2. Knocked all my Phillips Hue accessories offline, which came back after the Airversa(s) were removed from Homekit. All software were updated. There might be some compatibility issues here.
Any update since then? Working ok now?
Shane, of the air purifiers that you've tested, which one is at the top of your list?
Well I haven't tested them all... but of the one's I've used, I like the Vocolinc Pureflow for larger rooms, and I really like this Airversa for smaller-mid sized rooms.
@@ShaneCreates how would you say this compares to the vocolinc?
Vocolinc does not support thread. I’m not sure why you’d ever buy that…
@@kroqfan001 Very similar except the Vocolinc is bigger and better for larger rooms. The vocolinc also includes a temp/humidity sensor and does not support thread.
@@AyahuascaDataScientist Just because something supports thread doesn't necessarily mean it's superior. I will still buy and use products that don't support thread.
Airversa or Vocolinc indecently of price and size? Switching from Google Home and use my iPad as hub (no HomePod Mini for now). Will it still work withThread? Thanks!
No, you will need a HomePod mini or compatible Apple TV 4K in order to utilize thread. Also, iPad will not work as HomeKit hubs for much longer.
And what if I buy the HomePod (which I’ll do sooner or later). I already have an AppleTV but I think it’s not compatible
.
Does cover a studio apartment 450 square feet or should I get something bigger?

Still waiting for a HomeKit air purifier that exposes night mode in HomeKit 😴💤
Does anyone know if I can switch to night mode via shortcuts or if by now night mode is available in the home app too?
Hi Dennis. It is possible if you are using a 3rd party homekit app... sort of. It's currently shown as a "custom attribute" for example, and a little unclear, in the Home+ app. I've spoken with the developer of this app and was told that the "Sleep Mode" will be available in Version 6 of the Home+ app, planned to release on Nov. 25th.
The home app still doesn't show it, but it is exposed to homekit via custom attribute. SO you can use a 3rd party app like this, that provides all the custom attributes, to automate the sleep mode.
@@ShaneCreates Thank you Shane, really appreciate it. Guess I finally have to dive into the Home+ App then ;)
Sleep is accessible in the Home+ app
I see it now as one of the Custom attributes. That's great, thanks for sharing! I'll put in a support ticket to the app developer and maybe he can get it displayed with the proper name.
How ? I cant see it
BTW UPDATE FEB 2023, Sleep mode is exposed in home app. super easy and convenient, hopefully they add one that turns off the screen in the home app.
I just received one of these air purifiers and paired it with my Home App. In the Sleekpoint app it shows that the purifier is connected via Thread, but in the Eve app it’s showing that it’s connected via Bluetooth. 🤔
That is interesting. Maybe it takes some time to update in the app? Mine shows as a thread router in the Eve app.
Are you liking this purifier?
@@grizzlypaws461 after owning it for about 8 months. It’s one of those, set it and forget it thingies. I have no issues with it. It’s connected to my Thread network and is responsive. I have it in my living room and it’s set on a HomeKit automation with my ecobee motion sensor. [When motion is not detected, set purifier to full speed. When motion is detected, set purifier to auto.] So far it’s been good and reliable. Also customer service is great. In March when I was moving houses, I plugged the power cord in and the fan didn’t turn on. A guy from customer service FaceTimed me. Come to find out I was using the wrong power adaptors. I mixed up the wire with another power cord.
Discount code for Airversa is not working.
Just found out that it won't work during the the Prime Early Access Sale. It's already marked down 20% off for that.
Just saying the mode button in HomeKit is probably sleep mode
Oh..! new video on not Sunday
It is possible to ask Siri to turn off the purifier in 2 minutes in an hour etc …😉
You kidding me?! It's hilarious that 35 PM 2.5 is still a good air quality. It shouldn't be above the 5 as the year average and 15 daily! This is what the WHO tells us. Is it possible to set some kind of automation where I can change these sick firmware restrictions?
