The Corsair is a surprisingly good dogfighter despite its weight and size, especially with the use of flaps. If Alex didn't broke his I probably would have lost this fight
….and at that precise moment I knew it was all over 😊. Nice flying both of you. I can see that ghosting against the clouds now quite easily. It may also be a hole in the clouds from the planes alpha mask being out of position. Very weird tho.
Are you using TAA? I've had that problem in other games when using that. I play with a Reverb and don't see this. But I do see other weird stuff, I think related to DLSS
I think the Corsair could have won that if he capitalized on his better roll rate; towards the end of the rolling scissors you were rolling onto him way before he did to you and it should be the opposite because of the good roll rate of the Corsair. That was a fun watch though.
@@ATC83 Nice flying to both of you, that was a good fight! Btw I see what you mean with the VR glitches. I see some invisible shadows behind the corsair in this video
@@reggiekoestoer1511 Thanks man, good fight indeed! That's what I meant by "cookie cutter" shape, and unfortunately it's not the only VR bug of this update... (I suspect they are linked though)
yeah he was better at energy fighting but he choose to turn fight for some reason. So he got slower and Japanese turn fighter got him. See how dominant the Corsair was at 0:19. J2M3 didnt have the climb to chase him upwards.
Awesome dogfight! I play a bit of sim with a hotas setup I have right now and I'm thinking about getting a VR headset so that dogfights feel better. I haven't been able to find much on what VR headsets work well for this, would you happen to have any insight? I saw a reddit thread from 3 years ago where people were saying that VR in sim is a double edged sword, because it makes it very difficult to see things at a distance due to resolution and that there's no zoom function. Is this still the case? Either way, your dogfights are rad as hell. Keep making content!
Thanks! To run a VR headset you'll need a somewhat solid pc config, but the immersion is really incredible, feeling like you can touch things in the cockpit and seeing planes in real size is truly impressive. Identification of planes at a distance can indeed be more of an issue than on a good screen (more or less depending on the resolution of the headset you have in mind), but that's really a small downside imo. You can use the zoom like you would on a screen. I could never go back to a screen :)
A beautiful danse macabre!
Yeah it was a pretty nice fight. Thanks!
I'm not sure if rolling scissors was good for Corsair. Corsair is really big and heavy. He should've extended or something. Good fight nonetheless

Thanks man! That's what I meant by "cookie cutter" shape for lack of a better term, "ghosting" is much better. Weird indeed...

Damn bro got slumped💀💀💀

Thanks! I'd say the J2M3 has a better roll rate than the Corsair but I may be wrong, haven't flown it in a long time...
Good job dude! Love your videos.
Thank you very much, appreciate it!
GG, great flying!
You too man. Thank you! o7

intense
Yeah it was :) Thanks!
That Corsair started strong, had the energy, but lost in the agility race.
He broke his flaps at some point, I probably would have lost this fight if he didn't

Nice
Thanks!
man this game can be cool
Yeah WT has its flaws, sure, but I had great fun with it over the years
Awesome dogfight!

Remind me some old good moments with you bro. He was missing one flaps ?
Haha me too bro! Yeah he broke his flaps at some point during the fight
