Well, am fair drooling here! Amazing! Can't believe I've missed this process, I've been fabricating over 40 years now......ah well, just have to incorporate it into the next 40! Many thanks!

there are stoody arc welding rods that are pure carbide powder . it's tricky to use you can't move the puddle like a regular stick. it just falls straight down so no filleting .
Surface treatment of a milder steel sort in order to harden it ex. for knives on a mower. Or rebuilding a worn down shaft for new bearings to be fitted. ex. and electric motor where the shaft has been worn due to slack in the bearings. One would simply make a setup in a lathe and spray weld new material onto the shaft. After cooling, it can be machined.

What is the minimum thickness you can apply with this method?
Can this be done to stainless steels?
How can I fix tiny dot like holes that remain under the spray layer of welding???

What is this good for? What type of repair would you do with this system?

Why change your name from "Stoody" to "Victor"? lol
less work safety , because the regulator is not equipped with flash back!
Abdul Rivai Babo Onix they may have them rigjt before the tankes
Flashback vales are integrated into to torch handle itself after the valves.
