Rev Dr. T M Chambers, Sr "Silver and Gold Have I none"

This is a sermon preached by Dr. TM Chamber Sr in Houston Texas at The Baptist Minister Conference. Dr. Chambers was the first president of the Progressive National Baptist Convention. He was rated one of the greatest preachers in the nation and was an active board member of Bishop College. Dr. Chambers was a former pastor of The Good Street Baptist Church in Dallas Texas and later became Pastor of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Los Angeles California.

Yes it is. He is my grandfather. I pastor the church that he had in Los Angeles. He was 77 years old when he preached this sermon in Houston. I with you could have heard him when he was younger.

My great Grandfather Rev. Robert.L. Davis. Sr and Dr. Chambers Was great friends in Bishop College. My great aunt have a Picture of the two when they were in school for the state BTU training union in Dallas Texas in 1956 .
