Spray it with BT when you notice the leaves are being chewed by the caterpillars. They tend to go after the new growth spurt that happens after bloom. That’s the only time anything bothers mine so it’s a once a year thing. Other than that, make sure you’re not watering too much.
@@rnguyen2516 They’re easy to spot on the tree. Look for chewed leaves or bare stems and the caterpillars themselves will usually be easy to spot as they’re not tiny.
I have mountain laurels on my property. My experience is they do best with no attention at all. They are one of the toughest trees......hot or cold.
mine looks healthy, but it's never flowered. it's been in my yard for 2 and a half years. thoughts?
My mountain laurel tree looks like its drying, the new leaves get Eaton by moths every year.
