This station is a an example of failure integration. The initial plan was to be a seamless interchange station with LRT Ampang Park. But the politician wanted to show how they can cut cost when being a new gov, so they sacrificed MRT Ampang Park and made it a connecting station where passengers need to take multiple escalators and tap in tap out which remind me of the old design of Masjid Jamek station. How clever is the politician? People will remember this.

I always have to pay twice whenever i need to get to hkl.. One in kl sentral and the final one is the ampang park

Assuming you are travelling from KL Sentral to Hospital KL and prefer to use mass transit, there could be one possible option and need only to pay once for the transport. From KL Sentral, take Kelana Jaya Line to Masjid Jamek ( 2 stops/5min), transfer to Sri Petaling Line for LRT Titiwangsa ( 4 stops/6min), then walk to MRT Titiwangsa and finally take MRT Putrajaya Line from MRT Titiwangsa to Hospital KL ( 1 stop/1 min). All transfers are within paid area to paid area transfers without having to exit the station.

Ampang LRT station is the worst and disgraceful. The combination of vibrant orange, red, blue, brown, gray colors really hurts the eyes. LRT stations or any metro station should not have vendors or buskers and there is no need to exaggerate in decorations for any celebration. We should emulate the stations in developed countries such as Tokyo, Seoul, HK, Singapore or Taiwan. What a pitiful sight.

Agree, that this kind of color is only suitable for making a small line or at a small angle, not on a wall or on a pole

If these interchanges are barrier free, it would not be hassle to people like me
