I don't get why everyone's fighting about this being an "emo" band. They write relatively sad music because they write about what they are going through. Mayday Parade has helped me through so, so, so many hard times. Not because I was feeling emo and sad but because they captured exactly what I was feeling and I didn't feel so alone. They write about their lives. So why does it matter what genre?
