This version overall sounds different than the one included on the 30#1 hits CD that I own. Still a great version, too. Come to find out this is the real original version. Cheers.
Great stereo remix to my ears. Elvis was very astute to use the Jordanaires as I have always felt they enhanced his records to a higher level. Brilliant vocals and brilliant backing vocals (not forgetting the so professional session musicians). Was this rock 'n' roll? Not sure but super record anyway! Cheers and thanks Pat.

Why were there so much music not being recorded in stereo back @ that time? The Beatles 'Love Me Do' or 'She Loves You' for examples -weren't done that way.
There was no demand for it at the time. Most people who listened to Pop Music only had mono record players. Hi Fi stereo was an expensive hobby back then !
This is the kings greatest , never get fed up of listening to it. So unique. Great backing.
👍👍
Another song released while Elvis was in the Army. Great move by the Colonel.
A Fool Such As I says thank you, Pat
