Story
Dear friends!
Let's listen to a story today.
Once upon a time, in the Kingini forest, there was a river called the Malini river. Fish, crabs, and frogs lived happily together.
At that time, the rainy season began. It was heavy rains everywhere, and the rivers were overflowing. Suddenly, there was a huge landslide! From the mountains, a lot of rocks, dirt, and trees along with water started rushing down. All of the animals also floated away.
During that time, Mallan Crocodile, who was resting under the apple tree, floated away in that huge flood. He cried loudly, "Ayyo! Ayyo! Amme! Help me! Help me! Ayyo! Help, Help me!"
Mallan Crocodile flowed and flowed all the way into the Malini river. Mallan Crocodile asked loudly, "Havoo! Where am I? Is this a river? Is this a lake? Ha, I will rest here anyway. Is there no one here? Is there nobody here?"
Seeing the crocodile, all of the fishes, small fishes, and frogs started hiding because they were afraid. But Mallan Crocodile sneaked upon the fish and started eating them. All the fish started crying loudly and said, "Ayyo, please don't kill us, Crocodile Uncle! We are poor creatures. Don't kill us, Crocodile Uncle, don't kill us!" But Mallan Crocodile kept on eating them.
Days passed, and summer arrived. Animals of the forest came to the Malini river to drink water. Mallan Crocodile swam to the river bank and said, "Not one of you should come here! This is my river! Ha ha ha! This is my country! This river is mine and mine only! Ha ha ha! All of you should go away. I will not allow any one of you to drink water from here."
Poor animals got scared and ran away. They got very thirsty. They suffered without getting water. Days passed.
One day, there was a loud cry from the river, "Ayyo! Somebody please help me! Please help me! My teeth are hurting! Please help me! Ayyo, my teeth! The king crab's legs are stuck on my teeth! Help me!" It was Mallan Crocodile.
Mittu Monkey saw this and said, "It's Mallan Crocodile. He is bleeding. He deserves it." Neelu Fox also said, "Let him suffer for some time."
Hearing this, Aana Chettan also said, "No animal from this forest will come to help you. You will lie there and cry. You don't want to give us water."
Hearing Mallan Crocodile's cries, the smart doctor of the forest, Meenu Rabbit, came running to help. The King Lion saw Meenu Rabbit and said loudly, "Meenu! Do not help him! He doesn't give us water."
"Forgive me, King Lion. It is my duty to help this Mallan Crocodile who is in danger," Meenu Rabbit said.
The doctor Meenu Rabbit ran towards Mallan Crocodile and opened Crocodile Uncle's mouth. She took out the crab leg that was pierced into his mouth. She also took out the loose teeth. She applied medicines to it also.
"Havooo, thank god! Thank you, Meenu. Everybody, please forgive me. From now on, everybody come and drink water from our river. I will not hurt anyone," Mallan Crocodile said.
Like that, later on, all the creatures in this river and forest lived happily forever.
