I enjoyed this video! Some of Hitchcock's films are some of my favorites of all time. Just recently watched his silent "The Lodger" and quite enjoyed it. My absolute favorite is Rear Window.
I got to see The Birds and North by Northwest on the big screen in last few years. The Birds I always remembered loving as a kid. It might feel a little slow. I still like it but not sure it holds up as well. I’ve actually been to Bodega Bay where it’s set.
@@STEVEHEROLD you’ve seen way more locations than I have, I need to travel more. The sfx of The Birds are a product of their time and I usually appreciate old movies for what they are, like King Kong. I’m glad that I’m finally diving into his filmography
I have that set as well. Great set. Got it on sale during one of the Prime Day sales. Have checked out a couple titles from the set. Enjoyed everything in the set I've watched. I want to get that Notorious Criterion Blu-Ray. Definitely on the hunt for that one. I haven't checked out Vertigo or The Birds yet. Have only seen 1 or 2 titles like you. Hopefully get some more watched this year.
@@physicalmediaman yes, Notorious is a must own in the Criterion Collection, Cary Grant was movie star in his day. Yes, I would highly recommend Rear Window if you haven’t seen it yet. North By Northwest plays like a James Bond movie and it’s great too.
@@excelsiormoviereviews I've really enjoyed everything of Cary Grant's that I've watched. I've seen Rear Window, North By Northwest and Psycho. I believe that's it. All really really good.
@@physicalmediaman Joe, just to let you know the Greenwood Barnes & Noble location has Notorious. I’ll bring it up when we meet just as a suggestion if you can’t find anything else to buy and if they still have it.
@@bdubbbsmoviehub yes, those first three that I mentioned were awesome. I actually have owned Psycho for a few years by itself and I purchased North By Northwest about month ago, but Rear Window was a first watch and it stays with you for a while.

Thank you so much. Yes, I just watched Vertigo on Sunday and really enjoyed it.
Vertigo next. I remember enjoying Foreign Correspondent quite a bit.
@@Holland_Oates that’s two for Vertigo and it’s in the lead, this is going to be an awesome first time watch. Thanks Holland.

@@excelsiormoviereviews not sure what order I’ll watch them in but likely hit psycho and rear window first haha.
@@bdubbbsmoviehub two excellent choices for sure. Rear Window was better than I thought it would be.
