I actually think this platinum elo games are the most useful the average player can watch to learn and improve.
Watching high elo games is fun tho, but the things you see there are either too sophisticated or just can't be performed due to how the games go on in lower elo.
For the vast majority of players, watching a high elo player facing people in the same skill level they find in their ranked games, might help them notice better how to get and snowball advantages, and how to still perform and be useful when behind
