The crazy part is that most games or movies that came out were based on the TMNT 2012 show like the realistic TMNT game which who’s turtles had the same designs as the 2012 ones but different story.
I have a question...as a turtle keeper myself...wouldn't it make more sense if they were called ''tortoises''? Because their anatomy before they got mutated reminds more to land tortoise than a turtle. Although yeah it probably wouldn't really sound cool if they would have been called ''Teenage mutant ninja tortoises'' so turtles would fit more.
