I've had the pleasure of seeing them live. The crowd is very much a part of the ritual, not just spectators. It's the single best concert I've experienced.
I got to see them live a couple of months ago. I had listened to their music for a year before seeing them live, hearing it life and seeing the performance onstage is such an experience. And the drums, omg, I was in 23rd row back and the drums from the stage I could feel the force of it hitting my chest, I couldn't tell my heartbeat from the pounding of the drums. I had expectations for the concert and it was completely blown away.
All the instruments that aren't electronic(very few are in this group) are made from actual bone/hides. Yes the microphone stands are actual antlers. A lot of the drums and other instruments are either found and restored, or hand made, for the authenticity of the music and overall vibe. They even have a drum that was custom made with the blood of the three main members, Kai, Maria, and Christopher in/as the paint. They call it the Life Drum. Yes they are also in the vein of Wardruna, both are Norse bands. Both also focus on more of the days past, to remind us all, and to stay in touch in these times. Stories, messages, warnings, but also to always be in touch with nature, and your fellow humans. So much of it is almost without words to truly describe, imo. I could speak forever on my love and knowledge of this band. But I will just say they are definitely performing rituals with their music, especially during this live performance, it's mesmerizing. Kai(shaman looking man doing the lower throat singing) is considered a shaman in his circle. They call their music "Amplified History". It is absolutely beautiful. I'm SO glad this was one of the first songs you experienced from them. This song is very well representative of MANY aspects of this band, not only sonically, but what they're about. The performance too. I still get goosebumps at the "bridge", as you called it. The exchange/call and response between the two main male vocalists. Every single time. Heilung translates to Healing. And it very much is for me, and many others. And yes, these are much more of an experience, than just songs

@@daniellac.7588 I've considered doing videos like that for many different bands/artists honestly. Sort of the album review style thing, with background to the band as well. If you'd like to see why I don't, but consider it, without reading what ramblings I'm about to dish out for knowledge, skip to the end, lol. Music has always been a big thing in my life, and I love getting into the backstories. Not only of songs, but of bands, and members. It's a great journey to see where things and people come from, and how they may have got their style/sound. Also just really cool to learn about things they still do, or did before. Like Kai being a tattoo artist specializing in older/tribal Northern European designs, and some Polynesian. How he grew up in a Christian household, left as soon as he could, and dove so far into studies of Norse and other things that he became a shaman. His friends/tattoo clients gave him the nickname of Dr. Faustus. How Heilung started basically because he was recording stories, poems, and things he had either researched, or wrote himself, to show people back home, with Christopher in his studio. Christopher would add atmospheric things in the background. He and Maria have two other bands before this one as well, so Maria was brought in after he was like you know what? This whole talking thing isn't as fun anymore, how about we try to make this into something more musical?(without the intent of starting a whole new project at first) Then later on, once they started to figure things out, Christopher brought Maria in, and according to an interview, Kai scared her, haha. Mainly because she had never heard throat singing like that before, and it sounded otherworldly to her. One last thing I'll add to this, is from another interview I've read, this concert, was their first live performance as a band apparently, and the first time Kai had EVER performed on stage, or with a band. He says he doesn't remember it at all, and it was, "over in a second." To add to that, as a shaman, the way they are described is as "walkers between worlds," and he basically entered another state of mind, perhaps became another being in a sense, and LIFA is what you get from that. I haven't fact checked it with multiple sources, but still. I could just keep going, and do this for so many bands and artists, but UA-cam is just not the place for music education anymore, sadly. Unless you want to REALLY play the game. It's insanely oversaturated, the copy strikes make it damn near impossible to do anything with respect for the artist, or even showcase their music(makes zero sense for marketing, but the bands don't control that really). I'd want to delve way too deep into all of this because it's a passion of mine, and I just couldn't do it in a way I feel is not only respectful, but practical. I could probably teach a decent amount of little things on bands, or explain them in a way to get more people to at least understand, if it's not their thing. But again, a lot of work would go into it, a lot of time, and I'd also have to learn how to edit all that shit, hah. Only to likely end up getting a copy strike, and having to take shit out, or take the video down. The other option is constantly battling those strikes for every video, to likely not get very far. I appreciate the thought, a lot more than you may realize, I don't usually get much of a response in my day to day just talking about bands and shit. I know there's people out there who appreciate it, though. I have thought about different ways to make videos for a while, so maybe some day I'll convince myself, or things will be less ridiculous and strict on UA-cam(HIGHLY unlikely on that second one) and finally do something in that vein. But until then, I'll just keep planting seeds and dropping little facts here and there on random pages, talking to people who do care to hear it in my day to day, and keep working on things that are even bigger for me with music. Sorry this seems very long-winded, but thank you if you made it to the end. My mind takes off with stuff I get hyped on, or when people seem hyped on the same thing, hah. I gotta work on some control. But it is what it is, passion. If you wanna read it you can, if you don't, nobody's forcing anyone to, hah
Heilung are fanastic! As far as I know, nobody has ever had a copyright strike using their live stuff, so when you do "In Maidjan", which you should, you can let more of the performance show through. If any viewers haven't seen their performances, I really recommend them here on YT. The stuff that is going on on stage is amazing.
@@garyballard179 I have seen a ton of Heilung reactions from the concert and just in perusing them, they are all up. They are with a small indie label out of France, google tells me.
I cried the first time hearing this song b/c not only was it was the first time I ever felt truly whole...but it also felt like my ancestors were right there nxt to me!! It is the kind of music that you don't need to know the words...you jus need to feel the music!!
1: I, specifically would like to see more of this specific type of content. 2: Most, if not all of their songs are ancient poems (or based upon them). “Ancient poem” is a scholarly way of saying “ritual chants” without admitting the roots of traditional European “Heathen” religions.
@@TheAchilles26 not entirely correct. they have their own category under the umbrella term, european, namely, Nothern european (which is only classified much later in history on account of the extremely fragmented constantly shifting powers in the area at the time) but the Celtic and Pictish are specifically located in the British isles region. Not the northern european and most certainly not the nothern germanic/northern region
I'm so happy you like this. No "entities" being pulled forth, just the essence of the name of the group... "Healing" Almost everyone I've introduced this to has the same reaction. It touches something deep inside of us and transcends all these trite little squabbles we keep having between ourselves. And yes, this is music. This is where it started; in the rolling hills and neverending forest.
Heilung (German meaning healing) said in an interview that they're not doing performances but rituals. They do Norse (as in Ancient Northern/Nordic) music. The female singer is Maria Franz. Kriegsgalder means War Incantation. Other "songs" to check out are: In Maidjan Norupo Alfadhirhaiti Hakkerskaldyr Anoana
As a Dane I always end up skipping the "g" when reading the "galdr" part of the word, as the pronunciation of "galdr" in modern Danish, is extremely close to "alder", which means age. So I usually end up reading it as "krigsaldr" and not "krigsgaldr". The word "Krig" is still the Danish word for "war".
Honestly. I have seen them live yesterday and i can asure you the crowd is not just there. The crowd is part of the ritual. It is an absolutely indescribable experience. You can feel every drum beat with your entire body and everyone around you feels the same. Wordless peaceful communication of hundreds or even thousands of people. It left me speechless for a while.
I saw them live in 2019 in Germany - i can't describe how it felt to see and hear them live. there was pure energy in the air oh and it was more a Ritual than a concert.
Same feeling when I saw them in NYC in January 2020. been to dozens of live shows across the musical spectrum and this one will be the one I remember as I take my last breath
The rap is the Galdr/ Galster - Germanic magic chanting following a specific verse pattern that is supposed to be sung like a raven verse pattern: Galdralag - Gal meaning the sound of a bird, that keeps repeating parts of the previous verse and is filled with Germanic "Stabreimen" (alliterations, e.g. Beowulf, Hildebrandslied and the song Edda are composed in it) "...So the Sword, the Fire of the First, it Hungers to be Hit..."
Heilung (High-lung) means healing, and the language Maria Franz is singing in is called proto-Germanic. Heilung takes ancient North Germanic tribal inscriptions and stories and turns them into chants (songs) that they perform in concert (ritual). Seeing them live is truly a magical experience, and they are touring the U.S. later this summer.
I have watched Heilung several times and it is the most authentic pre-viking music I think. Of course just being a lay person....it is awesome and I appreciate the time and effort they put into this art. I enjoyed your reaction!
They make all their instruments. And these lyrics are based off the rock paintings found in some Nordic country, detailing an invasion. You can find more about it easily.
@@dovos8572 I suggested it to MrLboyd but he did live. LYFA is awesome live period but I think for this song people should watch the official video for it first to see the animation of the rock drawings.
I'm new here. Your voice is so soothing. I found my way here as a Heilung fan. I'm Norse Pagan and love their music. I use some of it in my own rituals.
Most reviewers of Heilung start with this song. Great song but the song ‘In Maidjan’ shows you just how beautiful Maria can sing. In Maidjan Othan Alfadhirhaiti Hamrer hippyer Yes, Maria is playing with real human forearm bones.
I haven't met anyone who hasn't been blown away by Heilung the first time they heard them. In Maidjan should be next for you. If you like her voice on this, you'll love that.
You are absolutely right, its a very powerful experience and so glad that you decided to take this trip! I really hope you at least check out In Maidjan as suggested by other comments, you won't be disappointed!
I'm so glad you loved this! You need to do a FULL reaction to their LIFA show. Put your lights down low, light some candles, and drink some wine (or whatever you drink, if you do drink). 😍
They are amazing live. Pretty much all their instruments are hand made and decorated with their own blood. They also refer to their performances as rituals. When I saw them live it was very primal, pretty much everyone was howling at one point or another.
I LOVE your "love" for this modern Norse "ancient" replica music ..... :) No one REALLY knows what it REALLY sounded like but i DO think its damn close ..... ;) Regards from a Scandinavian (Lands of the Norse) Many of the Norse people attacked England , France , Germany , The Baltics & The East Europe when Chrisianity reached their borders ! They had their own Gods and Belief back then , SADLY Christianity whiped out much/most of that !
I was wondering how long it would take to get to this. This was their first live performance together, and it's still my favorite. I'm seeing them live in September, so hopefully that will change. I'm stoked for it.
I might add here, that the "rap, but not rap" comes from the ancient tradition of Flyting. It is a verbal quarrel, or heated discussion, often involving cursing and insults between participants. So it's not far-fetched to use this kind of guttural dialoque, when it's obvious that they are so close to battle, because no middle ground can be found; "You only understand the language of the sword" Great reaction and love your content! keep it up
This is a fav in our household, too. It always makes me feel a connection to Mother Earth, much like I used to feel when I attended Pagan rituals with Pagan friends.
It sounds like hip-hop because of the tribal influences you spoke of. We all come from Africa, and it still holds within people. These tribes weren't far removed in the before Rome and after Rome periods. Drum beats and singing are older than fire and it's been a part of our evolution for longer than we know.
My man, its pure primal power. Saying you feel rap there is perfect because in a way there was. Melodic and purcussive vocals were there, not in the normal rap formula but in their own format cutting through the typical music of this track
I don't know if you did this on purpose...but this more visceral, 'ancient' type of music (yes...it IS music....which originated in simple signals banged on hollow logs and the like and evolved into 'rituals' and eventually an entertainment medium) with the image of a futuristic flyer zooming through a futuristic city is excellent. Both war AND peace have spurred humanities growth in any number of fields. Yet without what has come before, how can WE possibly know, or chart, where we are going? This song....and your presentation of it are a beautiful representation of how the 'new' is built on the 'old' and what was, at one time 'old' can be a part of the 'new'. Nobody WANTS conflict...but sometimes it is forced upon you. You do what you must at the time and then artists immortalize those acts in their specific medium. Those 'immortalizations' are then passed down as 'teachable moments' that allow for OUR growth. Sorry if this seems cliche, or 'nerdy'.....Songs like this...especially when presented as you have....just touch something I can't even describe within me.....Almost as if there is an 'ancestral gene' that is just waiting to be woken up by some images and sounds. Thank you
I think this was their concert at Castlefest in (Keukenhof) Lisse, The Netherlands in 2017. Amazing concert I listen to it start to finish on the regular.
The "bridge" is very similar in essence to an old Japanese story I heard? A young samurai says to his Samurai Lord, "My Lord, you teach us about war but you talk constantly about peace? How do I reconcile the two?" The Samurai Lord turns to the young samurai and says, "It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war."
They studied all the ancient records of the Nordic and Swedish Vikings to recreate the most accurate look, sound and experience while performing ancient songs of 10TH century Vikings. MOST of their instruments and costumes are hand-made and authentic. Real bones, real hides, real skulls etc. Not gonna find that Antler Mic stand anytime soon. Thats one of a kind.
You are bang on about this being more ritual then music. And the same goes for Wardruna. These are spellsongs. An atmosphere rarely experienced in the 21's century western world.
If you ever get a chance to hear them live, by all means do it. Seen them twice, once in Norway and once here in the U.S. The performances were intoxicating.
Yeah, as you mentioned, if you watch her very closely, she never goes off beat once, the entire performance. To me that is even more impressive than her voice.
I found this band last year or the year before and have been enjoying listening to the music since. I am now getting to see them live here in August and have some friends to join. so glad you got to expierence this band as well and that you enjoyed them!
I freaking LOVE Heilung. You should also check out Alien Weaponry, who are a (caucasian) Maori heavy metal band. The Hu, a mongolian metal band. And best of all Bloodywood, who are Indian, hiphop, metal fusion band. All of them awesome!
German Word HEILUNG /Healing......KRIGSGALDR/Spiritual War Chants.......Two Tribes went to War......its Members are from Germany,Denmark and Norway.Maria Franz is playing HUMAN Bones.....their music is defined as „amplified history from early medieval northern Europe“.....
One of my favorite group of musicians. If you want to hear more of her beautiful voice check out Ulvatime (pronounced ool-vah-te-mah), which means Hour of The Wolf. I believe it's sung in a Norwegian dialect.
Heilung has been my favourite band for years! Nobody so far has been able to evoke the same power they have in my opinion! They recently released a new song "Anoana" from their soon-to-be-released album "Drif". One of their best songs so far!
Heilung translates into "cure" or "curing' in English. The group has said that they intend on the listener to be left in a relaxed state after being the journey of listening to their music. To reall appreaciate them, you really shoud listen to the full LIFA concert/album.
another super surprising fact is that this is their first time playing together live. you'd never know it by listening because they do so insanely well while having a top tier live performance like they've been doing it for years.
I was there live with this concert it was being held on Castlefest and what i heard it was their very first official concert and if you are live at that band it is a whole different experience! IF you ever get the chance to see it live i highly reccomend it! Plus they are making the soundtrack for the next Hellblade game!
At live shows in america, they will invite local native peoples to share their music as part of their shows which is amazing. And to your point on it being an experience, that is what they describe themselves as. They call it audio archeology.
I am so glad to see you react to this! I also Adore Your reaction to it! COMMUNITY! SHARE THIS WITH EVERYONE YOU KNOW! GET THIS MANS SUBS AND VIEWS UP!!. and no... I don't thinks they sell those microphone stands. lol!
MrLboyd, Your voice is so smooth, and you are so well spoken I am sure you could read the phone book and make it sound good. Thanks for doing what you do man. I really enjoy your videos and the insights you share from each one.
I love this band. But they sound almost exactly like Dead Can Dance. One of my favorite bands of all time. Even a similar vibe, while this band cranks that vibe WAY up. But it’s so similar to Dead Can Dance. A band that’s been around since the 80’s.

Came to say this but was happy to see you already did in great detail!!

You should definitely make videos about them and their songs. All thst you explained is absolutely fascinating.
This whole talking thing isn't as fun anymore, how about we try to make this into something more musical?(without the intent of starting a whole new project at first)
Then later on, once they started to figure things out, Christopher brought Maria in, and according to an interview, Kai scared her, haha.
I randomly found this entire concert on UA-cam when I was extremely stoned lol. They are now one of my favourite bands of all time.
What about copyright _blocks?_
@@garyballard179 I have seen a ton of Heilung reactions from the concert and just in perusing them, they are all up. They are with a small indie label out of France, google tells me.
I received a complete block using it. Had to replace entire section for my video to remain.
Highly recommend in maiden, norupo, and their newest song
I cried the first time hearing this song b/c not only was it was the first time I ever felt truly whole...but it also felt like my ancestors were right there nxt to me!!
It is the kind of music that you don't need to know the words...you jus need to feel the music!!
Same. I remember that feeling.
Relatable. I've cried many times listening to Heilung 🔥💧🌠🌕
1: I, specifically would like to see more of this specific type of content.
2: Most, if not all of their songs are ancient poems (or based upon them). “Ancient poem” is a scholarly way of saying “ritual chants” without admitting the roots of traditional European “Heathen” religions.
you misspelled northen germanic/nordic
@@scar445, both of which fall under the umbrella term "European," which has the added advantage of including Celtic and Pictish
“What would music sound like before time.” Is basically the essence of the band according to one of their members.
This entire concert is on youtube and its amazing. They put on a crazy show.
Other "songs" to check out are:
In Maidjan
Norupo
Alfadhirhaiti
Hakkerskaldyr
Anoana
More than War "Chant". Galdr is a form of Norse magic, like an incantation.
@@Leiferuphugus Okay, changed it here.
I really love Heilung. They are indeed powerful. Their voices are great. It's so unique!
Heilung means a lot to a lot of viking and germanic people. They keep the old languages and music alive
Nice! This is one of my personal favorite songs that I dont really share with people. Awesome to see you get to experience them as well.
Awesome! I recommend this a loooooong time ago I'm glad ya finally got to it. Thank you to whomever else that told him about this band!!
those are my people and I cant stop crying
I saw them live in 2019 in Germany - i can't describe how it felt to see and hear them live. there was pure energy in the air oh and it was more a Ritual than a concert.
Same feeling when I saw them in NYC in January 2020. been to dozens of live shows across the musical spectrum and this one will be the one I remember as I take my last breath
Whenever I hear them it feels like I'm recalling long forgotten memories.
The rap is the Galdr/ Galster - Germanic magic chanting following a specific verse pattern that is supposed to be sung like a raven
verse pattern: Galdralag - Gal meaning the sound of a bird, that keeps repeating parts of the previous verse and is filled with Germanic "Stabreimen" (alliterations, e.g.
The animated video for Krigsgaldr is really, really disturbing, and illustrates the (translated) lyrics quite well.
there is an animated version? why haven't i heard of it yet?
@@dovos8572 I suggested it to MrLboyd but he did live. LYFA is awesome live period but I think for this song people should watch the official video for it first to see the animation of the rock drawings.
@@Zankaroo well after listening to that verion, i can only say that i'm liking the live version more in this case.
@@dovos8572 Yeah, I only do it for the animation. Other wise I listen to all LIFA songs live.
the animated video is wicked cool
I'm new here. Your voice is so soothing. I found my way here as a Heilung fan. I'm Norse Pagan and love their music. I use some of it in my own rituals.
Most reviewers of Heilung start with this song. Great song but the song ‘In Maidjan’ shows you just how beautiful Maria can sing.
In Maidjan
Othan
Alfadhirhaiti
Hamrer hippyer
Yes, Maria is playing with real human forearm bones.
Another opportunity to see and hear this beautyful woman is her band Euzen. Search for Metamorph live.
I haven't met anyone who hasn't been blown away by Heilung the first time they heard them. In Maidjan should be next for you. If you like her voice on this, you'll love that.
When the Romans heard this they started running. It is a recreated old German they are speaking. It feeling like being transported to 2000 BC Europe.
Love Heilung, Wardruna, Gealdyr, danheim. All have their own purpose
You are absolutely right, its a very powerful experience and so glad that you decided to take this trip! I really hope you at least check out In Maidjan as suggested by other comments, you won't be disappointed!
i highly recommend watching this entire performance
The rebuilding continues... the LateComer and his followers failed to eradicate the Old Ways.
Just found this band, and as a norwegian with high interest in norse mythology and a metal fan, this is so sublime. Love it. Really something special.
I was wondering how long it would take to get to this. This was their first live performance together, and it's still my favorite. I'm seeing them live in September, so hopefully that will change. I'm stoked for it.
I saw them at Red Rocks last year and it was by far the best show I have ever been to. You are in for an amazing experience.
Holy shit, first live performance? And its that high quality?
I'll be seeing them in August in Asheville! This will be our second time to see them live and we can't wait!
I might add here, that the "rap, but not rap" comes from the ancient tradition of Flyting. It is a verbal quarrel, or heated discussion, often involving cursing and insults between participants.
So it's not far-fetched to use this kind of guttural dialoque, when it's obvious that they are so close to battle, because no middle ground can be found; "You only understand the language of the sword"
Great reaction and love your content! keep it up
"Guys is she playing bones?"
Drum beats and singing are older than fire and it's been a part of our evolution for longer than we know.
you have GOT to hear them perform Alfadhirhaiti!!!
Heilung is one of those bands that's not "mainstream" because their lyrics aren't comfortable and catchy, but thought provoking and intense.
Thank you
They just released a new video for their song Anoana (I believe is the spelling). The video is SO amazing and the song is equally amazing.
In Maijden REALLLY shows off Maria's voice
Heilung is an experience... no other way to describe
Neo-tribal European folk music is a pretty interesting genre.
I think this was their concert at Castlefest in (Keukenhof) Lisse, The Netherlands in 2017. Amazing concert I listen to it start to finish on the regular.
If you want to hear an actual invocation from this group, check out alfadhirhaiti, which is straight up invoking Odin in its lyrics.
The "bridge" is very similar in essence to an old Japanese story I heard?
A young samurai says to his Samurai Lord,
"My Lord, you teach us about war but you talk constantly about peace? How do I reconcile the two?"
The Samurai Lord turns to the young samurai and says,
"It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war."
This is one of their BEST ones! All of the sounds, emotions, and history is just so good! Their song "Alfadhirhaiti" is also one of their best!
That's my favorite one live. So much percussion. The energy is unreal. Lol
The All Father blesses this endeavor.
If you ever get a chance to hear them live, by all means do it. Seen them twice, once in Norway and once here in the U.S. The performances were intoxicating.
"this is an experience".. this is Heilung.
Yeah, as you mentioned, if you watch her very closely, she never goes off beat once, the entire performance. To me that is even more impressive than her voice.
Everybody a gangster until the woods start speaking Germanic.
I found this band last year or the year before and have been enjoying listening to the music since. I am now getting to see them live here in August and have some friends to join. so glad you got to expierence this band as well and that you enjoyed them!
Oh yes, Heilung! Ten days and I will see them live and again in November 🖤.
Amplified History. German, Danish and Norweigian, what a combo.
every single one of their songs is an experience. I LOVE them
Odin IS the ALL Father ..... The top God of the Norse belief "system" ;)
Dude you are bringing me down the rabbit hole! LOVE IT!
I would say if you have the time watch the whole concert and they have it under there channel I think youd really like this style
Love them, you hit it on the head, it is mesmerizing and hits that primal cord. Always great to see/hear people's first reaction to this group.
I freaking LOVE Heilung. You should also check out Alien Weaponry, who are a (caucasian) Maori heavy metal band. The Hu, a mongolian metal band. And best of all Bloodywood, who are Indian, hiphop, metal fusion band. All of them awesome!
Please do more Heilung! "Norupo" next!
Soothing and very threatening at the same time. Love the love, keep it up!
Definitely check out the rest of their music. Such a fascinating group. The whole lifa performance is such an experience.
I got tickets to see them in Atlanta this year and I don't think I've been more excited for a concert before.
"What powerful spirit are they attempting to bring forward by singing this?"
The third track on the album Alfadhirhaiti answers this question. Odin.
Your voice is amazing. Heilung is one of those bands I hope to see live in person some day .
Great band, and album. Saw them twice. It's basically a spiritual awakening.
The bones are actually human the radius and ulna . Maria got them from a university anatomy department.
Heilung translates into "cure" or "curing' in English. The group has said that they intend on the listener to be left in a relaxed state after being the journey of listening to their music. To reall appreaciate them, you really shoud listen to the full LIFA concert/album.
A while back I dozed off while looking for banjo covers of a song and woke back up to this.
I highly recommend checking out Heilung - In Maidjan
another super surprising fact is that this is their first time playing together live. you'd never know it by listening because they do so insanely well while having a top tier live performance like they've been doing it for years.
GET THIS MANS SUBS AND VIEWS UP!!.
and no... I don't thinks they sell those microphone stands. lol!
Beautiful concert/ritual! Can't wait to go again.
MrLboyd, Your voice is so smooth, and you are so well spoken I am sure you could read the phone book and make it sound good. Thanks for doing what you do man. I really enjoy your videos and the insights you share from each one.
Everyone think's they're a badass until the trees start chanting in proto-germanic.
Thank you for reacting to Heilung. Thoroughly enjoy them and your content as well!
I love this band. But they sound almost exactly like Dead Can Dance. One of my favorite bands of all time. Even a similar vibe, while this band cranks that vibe WAY up. But it’s so similar to Dead Can Dance. A band that’s been around since the 80’s.
Heilung songs come up on UA-cam when you search for Dead Can Dance.
Earlier this month i saw their show, that definitely was an experience:)
We are all individuals yet we are all one.
That moment when you discover a whole new genre of music is always such a high. Keep broadening your horizon guys.
