I can see that; Mega Butterfree would be good to match its counterpart, Mega Beedrill. The same could apply for a Mega Fearow with Mega Pideot. I think Mega Slowking and Mega Frosslass are even more likely since its just a split evolution, similar to Gallade and Gardevoir. And as for Flygon, they better have one XD but considering these counterpart pokemon didn't get megas right away, I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't get one this time around either, unfortunately
I agree 100% that flygon should have gotten a mega over Garchomp -- I mean, Mega Garchomp in many ways is worse than regular Garchomp. It was #10 on my list because, though I don't personally have a strong connection to flygon, I knew it had to happen since "no mega flygon" is always a big talking point
you didn’t mention it but i’m surprised we never got a mega milotic in ORAS so i’d love to see it in ZA! and i think the whole beauty motif of the france inspired kalos goes really well with the ugly-duckling style of feebas and milotic

When mentioning Huge Power Diggersby, the ability doesn’t double the base stat, but rather, the stat itself. Meaning, it has an attack stat comparable to Slaking, which has base 160 attack. Mega Diggersby has the potential to be busted.
Good correction, thanks! And yeah, it could be very busted -- I am not a prophet for competitive viability, I just like big punch rabbit. I'm also not sure it will even matter how broken any new Mega's will be since it Legends Arceus we couldn't battle other players at all, and I find it unlikely that these mega's will return outside of Legends

A Mega Leavanny would be killer! And seeing Lycanroc get a Mega would be cool! I imagine it would end up like Latios and Latias where it's basically the same for both-- like they would mix day night and dawn forms together into one Mega

As much as i want and have always wanted so bad Mega Flygon, I'm now far too optimised to use a speedy mega. The lil guy's mega would have to have meta breaking speed to be worth sacrificing a hold item slot for. But, then, what if they make it so we don't need to use a hold item slot for megas anymore?
@@lookitsgriffin7800 makes sense, given that's been the drawback of megas this whole time, but then how is it going to be active? And would it then be transferable to gen 9/10 in some way? So many questions
@@dextersynesterformerlysorb5334 I may be wrong, but I think in Lets Go Pikachu/Eevee, you could Mega Evolve if you had the keystone in your bag and that's all it took. I don't think mega's are coming back perinatally, and you probably can't mega evolve outside of Legends Z, but still- it'll be interesting to see how they handle it all
Tiny bit of technical advice here: Get closer to your microphone and use an audio software to balance it out - as of now this entire video is extremely quiet in comparison to every other youtube video I have seen within the past week.

You know, if I were objective, i think Meganium is probably more needing of a Mega Evolution then Feraligatr is-- seeing it get a boost in power, but more importantly some stronger coverage, I think Meganium can get the love its been lacking all these years
@kiaparker9992 Technically we havent seen a Mega that wasn't a final stage, but we got Gigantamax forms for pokemon like Pikachu and Meowth so I wouldn't say its impossible

A lot of best megas are gremlins and goobers and a little guy here and there. The only 550+ bst pokemon that definitely need megas are dragonite, archeops and maybe Arcanine.
I can certainly see Mega Archeops being great! (Especially if the Mega loses the Defeatist ability) If I had to pick one of those three to get a mega, I'd go with Archeops, but any would be great!

That's a good point, actually -- and now that I think of it, Legends Arceus doesn't have held items at all; so I bet you wont need a held item to mega
