Vielen Dank für das tolle tool - genau das habe ich gebraucht! Ich fürchte nur, dass meine Scrapbooking Papiere zu dick sind... Aber ich probiere es morgen aus.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!! I had searched high and low for a card holder for my b6 and couldn't find anything without crazy shipping. This was such a great tutorial and I made two of these with relative ease. I am so excited because it was so easy and affordable I can make them for each season. Again, great tutorial, great demonstration and you explained everything so well! Subbed today🤗
If you have one of those cutting mats with grid ruler marks you can set them on that to help get it straight since the lamination sheet is clear allowing you to see the lines for placement.
I just made this and it came out great! The only thing I did differently was that I taped down each larger piece (on the back of piece) so it wouldn't move as I was taping each smaller piece. I also see that this can easily be made into a trifold insert. Instead of putting the pockets at the top of the laminate, put the pockets the long way and you can line up three sets of pockets for a total of 24 pockets. That way, you can use up more of the laminate sheet. I need that many because I will store my Dear Lily Designs stencils which are credit card size. Her stencils are thin so it shouldn't be too thick as a trifold.
Omg.. I will be trying this.. I have been trying to find something that would not bulk up my TN with cards and now I have it. Thank you so much. I am going to share your video on my foxy fix and chic sparrow Facebook groups because I am sure others would love this. Thank you
This is absolutely mindblowing to me! Thank you SO much for this tutorial! I've been meaning to making my No. 2 Foxy into a wallet and this is just what I needed to see to do it! Thank you!
I just got the same laminator, at the same price, a few weeks ago. I haven't stopped playing with it Yet! lol.. I Love this idea!! Thank you for sharing!!
I just finished mine and it turned out great! I just rearranged my craft room and could not find my hot Laminater. I ended up using my Xyron cold Laminater and sealing the edges with a fuse tool. I used a 1/4 in wide wheel attachment. Worked great! Love my insert! Thanks for the tutorial.
OmGosh, I found this tutorial a few days ago and I think its fantastic. One of the best videos on TN inserts I've seen. I do have to say that its driving me insane trying to figure out an A6 though!!! I dont suppose you could either do a tutorial on an A6 or maybe you could work it out and email me? I wont hold it against you though if you dont...... ha ha. This is making me think of doing a pocket TN for the first time!!! Fantastic tutorial x
I love this Crystal as I have a pocket plus and this would be perfect for my TN! do you make these to sale? it would be cheaper for me to purchase one rather than go through the expense of materials just to make one. Thank you in advance
Super easy! Id love to try this but do not have the laminate tool or papers. So I'm going to try with clear duct tape all over. Lol. See how it goes with plain paper then use pretty pattern paper. :'3 Thank you so much for this tutorial! Trying it soon.
Lauren Georgia Hope with a dull blade it tore the tape and some paper so need a new blade cutter for a smoother cut on the pockets. but tape works otherwise. haha. thanks so much again for this tutorial.
I saw a tutorial to seal laminate with a clothes iron on low temperature (using a towel to protect your iron of course). I’m not sure where you’d get just one sheet laminate plastic, but you could ask anywhere you can get things laminated if you could buy just one or two sheets. Otherwise you’d need to buy a box. There are also self laminating sheets, that are essentially double sided tape and clear plastic. I’ve used them for other projects and had varying degrees of success.
To make this for a personal size, you would only change the height to approx 171 mm and leave the width at 90mm. The width she used is perfect for the cards to fit snug...not too tight and not too loose. Since you would make it taller, you probably could add more pockets but that might make it thicker. I just made this pocket today for my A6. Although my A6 is taller and wider than this 16 pocket insert, it doesn't look bad at all. The measurements she uses is actually a very cute size.
Hi Racheal, you may find in your craft store some sheets that don't require thermal to be sealed. I don't remember the exact name but is in the section where the laminating sheets are, they said in the packaging no thermal need or something like this, I have not tried them yet but they will do the work. Also I have read another comment on this same post that she was going to try to use clear duck tape.
@Debi Lowery -hope you see this... I used inches. Not an exact conversion, but easy to see on an inches ruler. For the 139mm x 90mm, convert to: 5 1/2 " x 3 3/4". For the 90mm x 43mm, convert to: 3 3/4" x 1 3/4". Hope this helps!
I rewatched this today and made one just like yours. Thank you for the video!
Wonderful!

Awesome tutorial! Thanks so much!
I made one of these for my B6 Bullet Journal. This tutorial is perfect 👌🏼📓✂️🎨
Can u do laminated money envelopes?
Maybe if you lay a gridded mat board down under the laminate sheet, it would help to get the parts straight inside.

Best TN accessory DIY I've seen! Perfect!!
I wonder if they make RFID blocking paper to use for the chip cards. I guess we could use a pre-made RFID blocking pocket and cut it to fit.
yupyup1562 you could Possibly put foil between the large pages, and, on the back of Each pocket?? Just a thought
very nice project, economical
To sharpen your corner punch - try cutting aluminum foil and see if it sharpens for you.
I got to say "Domoarigato" Thank You , Gracias, Merci.

Oh ok thank you
What are inches?
Maddy Fogarty it depends on how large you want to make this. I do everything thing in mm for a more accurate measurement.
Your website link isn't working, did you move to craftsy or etsy?
Awesome!!!

Debi Lowery You just have to measure it out to the size you want. :)
@Debi Lowery -hope you see this...

It was just wayyy too thick.
Oh no! I use the scotch laminator and had no issues. Make sure that you don’t have super thick paper!
