They buffed flamethrower handling while shooting. I can change tartets very fast and burn more wide area. Hope to see some love for SMG weapons someday.

Driving past, tossing a 380mm into a bot fortress, and then returning later will be really great. The most important QOL for me is the shells; personally, the most tedious side objective improved.
I agree, and now there's no need to have to keep throwing them down.
A full truck with everyone throwing barrages on the map would be awesome

You can outmanevour the turrets most of the time, but yeah. Not the most optimal tool against area denial unless you have something like a recoilless, or...a death wish 😅
In terms of a whole squad? Honestly, unless you know the map is clear and you are picking everyone up for extraction, 4 men in one vehicle is a recipe for disaster every time. But it's hilarilous, especially with friends.
God, I'm glad shells were patched. I'm glad we have vehicles to deliver all the new side objectives to extraction and all the POI's we can discover more efficiently.
I still think completing most missions on foot is more efficient in the beginning, unless you have more than one FRV or a reaaaally good squad that communicates. No sleepy passangers. And especially no sleepy drivers. Drive-By 380's is now on my to-do list.

It makes me pretty happy to see that AH made the clear cut decision to keep the increased ammo reservers on secondaries and mag fed support weapons.
The game devs vision surely has evolved in a year and this just means good for upcoming ones

@@reaper_exd7498 Exactly, I paid $60 for the ultimate edition. Why do I only get 1 warbond? What type of greedy ass company is this. I'm not grinding 40 hours per warbond, and I'm on not spending money on supercredits so guess what. I just won't bother with this game, its the same shit over and over again anyway. Add more gamemodes and features and then I will EVEN consider playing again. The people who defend this game are children.

To be completely fair, I could see the jogging while carrying a shell or a barrel as us just being slowly more experienced in these things in-universe.

Man I got some solid reasons to try ballistic shield outside bots
Now we can really go full Spartan with the spear
ballistic shield is basically a bug strategem now, while the directional shield is a bot strategem. They did reduce the armor value of the Ballistic shield so that the bugs can actually damage it, so it's not AS good on bots anymore, so directional shield is honestly just overall better over on bots.
@@sivel7493 i find the personal bubble shield absolutely invaluable on bot missions. It's saved my ass more times than i can count cause it protects from all directions. I've tanked 500kg to the face, bot turrets, rocket devastators, hulks, the list goes on.
I think the armor is the same, only that mele attacks reduce shield health somehow
@@adrianbyg5553 no it actually got its armor value reduced from 4 -> 3, it's in the hidden stats xD, it can be damaged by more automaton sources now, like lasers from Scout Striders, Hulks, Gunships. If the shield didn't get the armor value reduced, it would literally be able to tank bug melee infinitely xD, except for heavy bug melees like Chargers and BTs ofc.
Thank goodness they added jog ability while carrying the artillery shells...I was quite tired of hearing "Package acquired, dropping package" over and over again. Now at least the shells that are close to artillery will be dropped directly into it and not immediately after picking up 😂
Should still stack them before immediately putting in.
Activating the computer triggers spawns, so faster you get loaded after that point the better
The real question is if it's more efficient than throwing the shells, never mind dribbling the shells.

Hey guys, just be advised that if you want to use the ballistic shield that they actually reduced its armour value by one (it can now be damaged/destroyed by things like scout strider shots, hulk cannons and shredder tanks), though they also increased its hp
The player's base melee attack has 1 extra AP as well, and sentries got a 50% health boost
Jogging while carrying missiles etc. should've been added ages ago, since even without the more effective drop-pickup-drop move as contrast it was always excruciatingly slow.
If there is one thing I want from the vehicles is for them to be controlled like Halo cars just because of the speed
One other thing I noticed is you can now customize vehicle controls. It was messing with my custom bindings till I changed them to be in line with my on foot bindings, like getting off turrets and objectives since I use F to interact but default exit vehicle is E. Oddly turrets and certain objectives count as vehicles it seems
I’m going to miss slowly carrying the artillery because if you dropped it while quickly flicking your camera to the side, you could throw the thing very far. You could get the artillery to the cannon in one throw. It was a fun thing to do and to show people.
That is still a thing and had nothing to do with flicking the camera
@@bingbong8464 Camera flicking is less well-known, but shows up in a handful of videos. I've always used weapon switching.
@@nayhem doesn't do anything and is less well known because 1. Controller players exist and 2. It's a dumb over complicated way to use the tech

Supply pack giving stims when you supply other divers is godsend to my support playstyle.

I’m so glad they made Siege Ready Armor apply to all weapons. It’s such a nice perk as-is and would’ve been far less impressive otherwise.

No they didnt. They just reverted the bug. They didnt add it, they didnt design it, they added it back after taking it away in a toxic manner, and only after months of trolling you players. Remember, they took away something fun for "balance" specifically after they lied to you guys and said they wouldnt do that again. Yet you guys rewarded them for being liars.

The ballistic shield blocking melee is the best change they've made since the balance overhaul. Now we can go full spear and shield everywhere!
And the new tomahawk and shield.
I found it infuriating that the riot shield WASN'T STOPPING THE RIOTS!!! But they finally fixed it
Now the Ballistic Shield isn’t just a worse version of the Energy Shield! And we can be true Cavaliers of democracy with it too!
Seems you can also sometimes find buried samples underground around where you find a trench tool / shovel. 👀
I've noticed before the patch that some samples seemed to be stuck in the ground, but could be picked up while prone. Some bunkers also seem to have odd pieces of terrain stuck in them. Didn't occur to me at the time to try shelling them (or I didn't pick relevant stratagems for such).
I'd like to see a QOL with being able to disable the camera auto reset while driving

Ayo no one talks about the stratagem ball throwing animation now has close target change. You can directly place it on the ground in a short distance without fiercely slap it in the face. This may prevent bouncing glitches on some occasions

No one has mentioned it, but they also changed the button for getting out of vehicles, and added a button that allows you to swap seats.
I will now do what I like to call “the ballistic missile play” where I fall from a great height use the at ease emote and with the new hellbomb backpack, detonate into a bot fortress or just a big group of enemies.
Honestly they should keep the worm man glitch. Its harmless in a PVE setting and its funny. Kinda reminds me of the t-pose bug in TF2 or the spy crab.
Helldivers 2 devs are my fav ones amongst all the devs out there. Ofc they did do something stupid for a while, but I can't deny that they are doing really great rn. Hope the other game devs follow the example of them.
They learned from their mistakes and admitted to their faults. I rather have devs that are willing to grow and not blame the player base while making stupid decisions over and over again to spite them. Of course, they are not perfect but none of us are so I do not expect them to always be correct/right.

You can now fast throw some Strategems when you directly throw it after the sequence. This will throw it more near you. The diver will trow it then out if the hip.
I dont think i see anyone mentioned this but Pressing circle on console now switches your seat instead of getting out. So now opening your map and pinging something in the car is less of a nuisance
Might just be me, but I swear AMR got a stealth buff to handling. Feels super snappy. On the other hand, Scythe still has inverted fov between distance settings on the scope and now the beam is misaligned to the crosshair, hitting above where you aim at

Does anyone else have a problem, on controller, where driving and opening the map causes the player to constantly stim whilst changing seats? That's been happening for me.
A major game feature completely bugged and not actually functioning!? 👁️👄👁️ next you'll say they released an incomplete game!? Oh wait. Lol who cares. Im aure they'll patch in a timely 6-8 months and you guys will praise that slop speed of customer service for a live service game. Meanwhile my actual games will get bugs fixed in 1 month for the most severe. And other live service games, like fortnite, will have it patched in hours of discovery. Sorry guys, but HD2 is subpar at best. Even compared to fortnite. And that's sad.
Opening map while pinning map will switch seats… try to use the touch pad instead to navigate the map to avoid using stims accidentally

no idea why they added better targeting to the gas dog backpack but not the flame sentry, which really needs it.
Because ethd flame sentry is op as it is
Flames do damage in addition to the burn effect, gas only did an effect and the continous spray was just wasting ammo
Because most of the damage from the flame sentry is direct damage, is a cone of fire, and leaves ground fire. It SHOULD focus targets down just like a flamethrower should
Cuz they gotta drag out logical buffs to update later. It's delaying work so they have something to do later. It's specially called making busy work. Lazy people do this ALL THE TIME!

Health packs that you found on loot will fully restore your stim packs
I wish that the "carrying" animation remained the same as previously, but your characters just moved faster instead. Sometimes I would get a bug where I jogged at normal speed while carrying a package (explosive containers and artillery shells) and it looked much better. Regardless, it's nice that they have done this as a QOL.
No one is talking about it, but the first person aiming has changed. The sights no longer sway, but the accuracy is still impacted by movement.
Pretty sure that's a bug. At least I hope it is, as it's now impossible to tell when the barrel is back in alignment with the sights.
Had to switch to third person aiming with the autocannon as it decreased my firing rate way too much.
I confirmed it's a bug, it's listed on Arrowhead's thread on known issues. Hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

No. Only magazine fed weapons like machine guns, grenade launcher, anti material rifle, etc. It doesn't help recoiless rifle, spear etc.

Yes! But not with ballistic shield equipped. I tried to throw artillery with my shild on, it stuck on my shield. Worked fine without it

Having the shield to be fully functional than blocking projectiles is a good time for melee players to go SPARTAN on them clankers and bugs

STILL Haven't fixed the bouncy strats. They are still REALLY bad for setting up emplacements on stuff either than dirt, even then it may bounce a few feet.
Honestly sometimes it's kind of part of the sillyness and fun imo like the last clip in this video I love that. Maybe they can improve it in some situations though
They have it as their priority items that's still a work in progess. The discord patch notes stated as such. It will eventually be fixed.
They'll never change that. They specifically said they sont want divers camping and that was a camping tool. Sad though cuz holding a position is exactly how you defend yet the devs seem intent on making stay put a death sentence regardless of difficulty. There are no strategic positions. Trenches and cover are pointless.
I don't know if this is a bug or if there was a nerf to the autocannon, but I wasn't able to destroy a bot fabricator with the autocannon for some reason.

@@mylesfrost9302 it was done a long ago, it's 'down' on d-pad, I don't know the binding for PC, but it should short press the button which brings menu where you can drop things on the ground.

Well they did fix the Ship pod glitch where if you got into the pod, got out then kicked you would be a hellslider. Bot anymore

Can you check if the guard dog is now bugged? It used to mow down voteless but now it shoots above their head, wasting a whole clip without hitting anything sometimes.
It does that sometimes, I mainly think because it loves to headshot voteless...sometimes it works flawlessly, sometimes totally opposite!
