I think Zavala will be right on the precipice of being taken and then when The Witness asks for him to join them, Zavala is going to give an iconic "NO". That will be the part where all of the cloaked figures around him collapse.
If this is all real then the city is likely gonna be destroyed by the end of it. So even if we kill the witness it didn’t fully lose it somewhat succeeded

I’m guessing that whatever will happen is at the end of the campaign the Witness will basically win by finalizing earth, but we make a comeback in the raid and defeat it before it can enact the final shape, or at least weaken it severely so it has no more darkness intertwined with it.
Osiris used back to back supers under the moon’s surface when fighting Oryx’s family before Sagira sacrificed herself for him. Considering Ikora was his student (and a powerful warlock in her own right), it makes sense why she can as well.

Now for speculation: it looks like the hint in the vidoc "and you'll start to wonder, 'what would it be like to be a disciple of the Witness'" was referencing Zavala's apparent struggle with something the Witness presents him (maybe Safiya comes back?). Same with Mara, I see she is hesitant to enter the portal. Now as for the reshaping of reality and the last city, the initial shot of the city, and the later one of earth appears to be cannon. The other 3 are most likely visions inside the pale heart. All of ^this^ was made before watching the entirety of your reaction.
EDIT: the veiled statues are most likely the Witness' original race, I agree completely. The traveler hasn't been explained in game, but under speculation we can guess that it is the manifest of the gardener, and the veil is the manifest of the winnower (by manifest, I mean their physical form in our reality, but not the gardener and winnower themselves - pawns, so to say). If you read deep into lore - tho flower game lore card I believe - it makes sense, and in that lore card it says that the game always ends the same way, one perfect, fianl shape. The gardener got enraged, through a fight, the winnower made a knife (my guess is that the "first knife" is either the Witness, as it is an instrument of the final shaoe used agaist the traveler/gardener, or just the veil), then we are where we are today. The Witness' name could hint to the fact that they saw the winnower won the fight and the final shape is inevitable - just a note I thought I'd add it. The back-to-back supers are actually lore accurate. I find it completely agreeable that Ikora can throw two supers as once, and I am also fine if in a D2 TV show warlords throw supers within a matter of minutes. All of it is supported in lore, and cutscenes and shows (imo) should showcase the lore of the game more than the game itself, so fuck mechanics lol
I see the witness trying to temp us we refuse and instead it turns to Zavala. Once Zavala is turned that’s when it can enact the final shape. Think about it why hasn’t it killed us. It must need a lightbearer or someone who can wield both light and dark. If they kill off Zavala they need to make him atleast a campaign boss. Tho I see raid boss. Imagine the boss name just appears and it’s “Zavala, The Last Disciple” and were forced to kill him or atleast fight him. Tho if he is a disciple does he lose his ghost? Does he keep his ghost? I’d assume the witness would instantly kill his ghost. That leaves him lightless which might go against what it actually needs.
If you slow it down at 1:50 you can see it flash for a split second to what looks like the guardian with some sort of aura around them. Almost like when we lost our light in the red war. Then it cuts to cayde standing over a casket. Could this be when the game predicted our death or our ghosts death? It also has a purpleish hue, so it may just be somerhing to do with prismatic but still pretty interesting
The casket is his own. Assuming the witness or something within the pale heart has given him a vision of his funeral. It’s probably to show his weakness as he’s dead and can’t leave and the witness is trying to torment him with this. The casket is 100% his tho
The speaker was the one who formed the Vanguard and is the only one who can appoint a new vanguard leader. Crow won't become the vanguard leader he's just way too green co.pared to several other candidates but we also need a Speaker replacement first.
In lore not only can Guardians spam supers and even have the potential to change what class they are using the only reason they don’t in game is so that the game is playable and actually fun.
Only one week to the final shape this trailer is fire and I am hype for it. But a dark part of my mind is trying to tell me this might suck and it might but I want to be hopeful that bungie can pull it off. It's been an honour to been here with you all and this might not be the end of Destiny. but it is an end to a story that started are love for destiny. Can't wait to see how it ends, and for our commander ✊🫡💯🔥💯
What if during the final moments, because we see that Savathun is gonna be there too, what if we see Fynch and his Lucent Hive Knight finally fighting on our side dude?! Like he’s just like: “HEY GUARDIAN CAN WE JOIN THE FIGHT TOO!?” And the Lucent Knight comes in with his Void Shields and Captain America’s two Subjugators or something 🤩🤩
