I bought the Fast and Furious Drift RC Nissan Skyline at my local Walmart. I have always been a fan of the movies and Paul Walker will always be one of my favorite actors. I have been a car enthusiast since I was a kid. So when I seen this I had to buy it.
It actually really does drift and it was fun playing with it. The body does actually look like the Nissan Skyline, very detailed and the spoiler is also detailed. You can take the body off as seen in my video and can get another body for it at your local hobby shops. It really is awesome and young kids and even the adults like myself will have fun with this car.
Mine took about an hour to charge it, and I got about an hour use of it.
Even though you see in part of the video my driveway wet from the rain, I don't recommend playing with it on surfaces that are wet or in rain. I just had to film more parts for my video the next day.
The tires did wear fast in my opinion, but it still drifts no problem and I haven't changed the 4 tires. I am sure you can get more tires online at Amazon or at your local hobby shop for it.
If I was to rate it 1-10 I would rate it a 9, just for the fact of the body is very flimsy, made of plastic, but did hold up good and the tires did wear fast in my opinion. Depends on what surface you drive it on. This car handles very differently on different surfaces (smooth polished concrete, rougher driveway, carpet, linoleum) so keep that in mind.

Keep in mind this car is not made to go fast, it does have turbo boost and it will make it go faster than the regular speed. It's a drift car, that is what it's for.

Paul was one of the rare genuine movie stars, he was real down to earth, humble and it showed in what he did. I didn't know him personally, but when he died, the world truly lost an Angel and a rare soul.

@@bl_gabe9366 You can change the tires on it and it has a key that it comes with, so make sure you keep it because without it the tires will not come off. The rims I have honestly never tried to change, you may have to take it to your local hobby shop for the rims to be changed and to see more about that. Do tires need to be replaced after a certain amount of time?
Yes, the tires will need to be replaced after a certain amount of time. That is why the Nissan Skyline GT-R RC car includes 4 extra tires with it. You can also get tires online at Amazon and any hobby shops.
Everytime I drive it straight. The wheels move left and right. WhAt do I do?
See if this will make it drive straight. At 3:57 in the video you can see a dial underneath the car. Adjust the steering dial underneath the front axle, left or right, until the wheels point straight forward. Let me know if it will drive straight after you do that.

Can you change the shell on it?? Has anyone ever tried to change it because I saw that it was removable so I was wondering if you could replace it with another body design.
Yes you can change the shell on it. I have never tried myself. I always suggest to take it to your local hobby shop to see what body design would work best for it. You may need to trim the shell because not all may fit on it, but know some have done it. Hope this helps you. Thanks for watching my video!

The Toyota Celica I have had for over 10 years and bought it at Target. It had working headlights, taillights and underbody glo. Mine is no longer available for purchase. I hope you can find one, maybe try Amazon to see if they have one. Thanks for watching my video!
How far can you drive the cars before the range stops?
My driveway is approximately 100ft or more long and I can be standing all the way by my house driving it and it even goes towards the road pass the driveway to give you an idea. There is nothing on the instructions or anywhere that tells me the exact range. Hope this helps you and thanks for watching my video!
I have a rx7-vielside, and I just bought It today, and it won’t turn, do you know how to fix this😩
First thank you for subscribing to my channel! I just subscribed to yours. You won't get notified because I have my subscriptions private, but you will see your numbers go up. Sorry to hear that you're having problems with the RX7 you just bought. I don't know why it won't turn or know what could be causing it. If you charged it completely and if the rims are all locked into place okay, it should of worked right out of the box. Honestly I would take it back if you just bought it and exchange it for a new one again, because even if it did get fixed, it could have more problems down the line.
Check the front wheels for anything still attached. Did you read the trouble shooting thing?
So legit got the only one but hans rx7 .which got me wondering what other ones they had. I just slide em on my tile floor deff doest run down the tires lol
Awesome that you got one! At first the ones they had were the Nissan Skyline and the RX7. The other day I seen by the same company a mustang all black with gold rims RC drift car. Hello please tell me the right price of like these cars
The price of the Nissan Skyline GT-R Rc car is $39.99. The other two cars in the video, the black Toyota Celica and Goldish brown Nissan 350z I have had for over 10 years, so they are not for sale anymore. I have the price and links to where you can buy the Nissan Skyline in my description. Walmart and Target is $39.99, and you can buy them instore if they have them and online, but I see Amazon is listed a bit more now when buying from a seller on Amazon. Please let me know if this helps you.
Anyone know of a better battery pack I can replace the battery inside with? I know it says non replaceable battery but I've opened it up and it looks like 3 AAA size battery with 2 wires and you are actually able to unplug it.
When I first made the video a year ago it said non replaceable battery and so did the company Jada said it wasn't, so I didn't want to put the wrong information in my video. Overtime I have seen people do different things with theirs including the battery. I was watching a video and someone did that and said their was a battery on Amazon any size 3 cell battery between 1500 and a2200mah. I think also you would have to make your on connectors. I am surprised no one has either. I got the Nissan 350z about 8 years ago at Target. It was made for the movie The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift. It has working headlights, taillights, sound and spinning rims. I have always collected R/C cars every since I was a kid. Thanks for watching my video and your comment!

The Nissan Skyline GT-R RC car is the only car for sale and it is $39.99 and I have all the links in description where you can buy it. The other two RC cars, the Toyota Celica and Nissan 350z, I have had for over 8 years.

Is the body compatible in 4 tec 2.0 traxxas??
From what I was reading online about the 4 tech 2.0 traxxas and the length of the body it is not compatible. The traxxas length is this 17.6 inches (448 mm) and the Nissan Skyline GT-R RC is this Product Dimensions (L x W x H) 16.00 x 7.50 x 4.50 Inches. I don't know much about the one you're asking about, but if that is the one it wouldn't be compatible. Hope this helps you.

I'm undecided which one I should buy the Skyline or the RX7 both look Awesome which one would you recommend for a first time drifter and btw Awesome drifting skills!!
Both are really awesome RC cars! You can't go wrong with whatever choice you decide to go with, because both will drift and drive the same because they are made by the same company just different body styles. I chose the Skyline because I love that car and was always a fan of Paul Walker and the details on that RC was really good. I plan on getting the RX7 later and also Dom's RC car. I would say choose the car that you like the most and if you have a store that has them both, go see them in person. Honestly whatever you decide you will like it, because it has been a fun drifting car to have. Thank you for your comment about my drifting skills and taking the time to watch my video! Please don't pay $65 dollars, because they are only supposed to be $39.99. Target also has them instore and online. Cant change bodies as there different shapes ( and I mean it will fit but r34 shell on rx7 car leaves a big gap all round looking messed up) good thing with both is there all 4wd with turbo boost button which is why I love them all but I always prefer the r34 just looks way to cool to be drifting about

Sorry to hear you're car is not working. I'm not sure what it could be. Try and see if this will help. On the instructions inside the box it has Trouble Shooting solutions. "Vehicle does not move" 1. Switch off power and reset your vehicle a few minutes. 2. Check the batteries out and change them for new ones and see if that is the problem in the controller. Try charging the car again until the green light comes on. If these don't work you could of got one from the manufacturer that had something wrong with it. Did you recently buy it? If so I would take it back and exchange it for another one. Let me know if you get it to work.
Might get this for chrismas any tips for painting over it.
That would be an awesome Christmas gift! I have never painted over an RC car before to be honest, I wish I had some tips on it. I have used Plasti Dip that is a removable paint on my Ford truck and have 2 UA-cam videos on that. Plasti Dip can be used on a lot of things and can be easily removed is the only suggestion I have for painting. Not all body kits will fit the car, my suggestion is if you have a local hobby shop that has R/C cars it would be best to take the car and see if they have body kits that will fit the Nissan Skyline GT-R RC. Hope this helps you. Thanks for watching my video!

How can I do the donuts ? I just bought now but no idea about how to drift it
Sorry for late reply. When I drift the Nissan Skyline GT-R RC car, I use the boost button and when I want to do the donuts I turn the wheel all the way to left or right and hold it there to do it. When I am drifting the car real fast I turn left and right back and forth movement of the wheel. Hope this helps you. It will take some practice, but you will love it once you get the hang of it. I don't have the RX-7 from Jada Toys. I recently just bought Brian's Toyota Supra from Jada and working on that video for my channel this month. The whole rim someone else asked about it also and to be honest I am not sure if you can or can't because I have not messed around with the car that much except to add the blue underbody light kit to mine. Only suggestion is if you have a local hobby shop near you they could tell you if the rims can be changed and show you because unfortunately I will not be making a video on how to show it. The tires you can get on Amazon or your local hobby shop. I haven't even changed my tires on mine to the 4 extra it came with and it still drives good. Thanks for watching my video and your comment!

It's a really awesome and fun drift car to have. Sometimes Walmart, Target and Amazon are out of stock but bring them back if you keep checking and even in the Walmart stores they sometimes bring them back in stock. That is where I find mine, at my local Walmart. Thanks for watching my video!

@@yourboicris3109 There is no information by the company about the speed of the car or online, so I couldn't provide that information for you. It goes fast enough for me, but keep in mind this car is a drift car and that was what it was made to do, not go fast like some of the RC cars. It has turbo boost, which makes it go faster. Can I change the rechargeable battery?
I have actually never done it, but I seen on UA-cam someone modify the battery. If you type in Nissan Skyline RC battery change, it should take you to the person who did it. Hope this helps.

Do mean what songs I used for the video? I used the instrumental version of the Tokyo Drift song, but a different version of it from the movie the Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift. The other song is a different version from the Fast and Furious 7 and was a tribute song for Paul Walker. See You Again.

Not always, but most of the time when I am drifting I use the boost.
How fast it goes?? Can anyone tell me that??
There is no information online or by the company who makes this on how fast it goes. If you're looking for a really fast RC car, this may not be the one for you. It's a drift car and that is what it was made to do. It's fast enough to me. The turbo button, the red button is what makes it really drift and go faster to do those drifts like you see me do in my video. If you're looking for something a bit faster, Dom's Dodge Charger RT 4x4 that you see in this video goes fast and I have a video for that one. It's a really fun drift car to have though. How fast does it go
Thanks so much for your comment on my video! It doesn't go really fast, but fast enough in my opinion. Keep in mind this is more of a drift car, but when you use the turbo button it will go faster and depends on what you drive it on. The people who make it say it goes apx up to 15 MPH. If you're looking for something extremely fast, this may not be the R/C car for you, but it's really worth the price and a lot of fun to drive. I also recently just made another video with Dom's Dodge Charger R/T R/C car and it is fast if you are looking for something really fast. what are the body kit links does it have any challengers or chargers?
The company that makes these RC vehicles Jada Toys, does not sell body kits at all. I have not changed any of my RC vehicles body shell, so I always suggest if you have one of these to take it to your local hobby shop to get one that will fit it. Charger body kit will not fit on it at all. I actually have Dom's Dodge Charger RT 4x4 RC and tried. Here are a few links to the other RC vehicles I have on my channel. Hope this helps you.

I got the Nissan Skyline GT-R R/C car at my local Walmart. Check your local Walmarts and especially the Walmart Supercenters. Sometimes they are out of stock, but get them back in. Thanks for watching my video!

Is the black one a RWD Celica? I didn't know Toyota made 'em that way. Maybe it was custom for the movie, or AWD in the movie.

Honestly I can't remember if it's RWD or not. Haven't used that Toyota Celica in over 10 years. I mainly put it in my videos for show because it was always one of my favorite RC cars I have collected over the years. It had underbody glow, headlights, taillights and more. Thanks for watching!

Yes you can. I have in my description you can by them at your local hobby shops or Amazon. It also comes with 4 extra spare tires.

@@deandaniels203 The throttle when you put it in reverse, forward and press that turbo boost all respond good in my opinion. Keep in mind that it's not like the ones you would buy at your local hobby shops that go really fast. What I liked, so many R/C cars say they drift, and don't, but this one really does. i got one of these at a flea market for 5 dollars, everything is absolutely great but the wheels are a bit wobbly and has no body shell
Nice find for 5 dollars! You might be able to find some wheels and a body shell on Amazon.

This video was made a year ago and at the time it was made when I searched to see if it was removable, the instructions and the company Jada said it wasn't. I never want to put information in my videos or say it is removable and it wasn't and if someone tried to remove it and theirs broke, it would be because I said it was removable. That is why my information on my video says it can't be. So yes it can be if someone chooses to do it themselves, I have seen others do it. Thanks for watching my video and feedback!

That is awesome this will be your first RC car! There is no turbo sound on this car.

Probably not because of the way the actual body of the car is made. If you have this car, I would suggest to take it to a local hobby shop near you, so they can give you an idea what body can and can't go on it. I haven't changed the body on mine yet. Both are really awesome drift cars. I have both and in my opinion the Toyota Supra drifts a bit better. It really is up to you and which one you really liked in the Fast and Furious movies. Both are very, very awesome to have.

I have never been to hobby lobby, so not sure if they do have it. I have only seen it at Walmart, Target and online at Amazon. You could always check and see if hobby lobby has it.

It is probably good to use it on a flat surface like wooden boards in your house of something
It can be used in your house on tile or wooden floors and also on driveways like I used it. I never had a issue with mine when I used it on my driveway. Still have the original tires on it. It's a very good RC car.
Best tires to use I hate ones on it
The only recommendation I have is to take it to your local hobby shop to see if they have any suggestions on the best tires for it and Amazon also has tires for the R/C cars like this. I haven't changed mine, so I can't recommend anything for them.

Awesome you were able to get the Nissan Skyline! When I drift the car, I use the boost button and real fast I turn left and right back and forth movement of the wheel. Hope this helps you. It will take some practice, but you will love it once you get the hang of it. Have fun drifting and thanks for watching my video!

I never experienced any issues with mine and had mine for 3 years. Never had that issue at all with the steering.
