The origins of Castelnuovo di Porto can be traced back to the history of the ancient city-state of Capena, capital of the Capenati, a flourishing Italic population that thrived north-west of the Tiber, before the advent of the Roman Empire.
Autochthonous culture underwent external contamination over time, above all by the Etruscans, the Latins and the Sabines. They spoke a language related to Faliscan.
The Capenate territory (Ager Capenas) extended along the right bank of the Tiber, bordering to the north with the Falisci, to the east with the Tiber and the Sabines, while to the southwest with the Etruscans of Veio.
Little is known about the Roman era. The origins are also unknown, perhaps......................................................................................................................................................

Hih i am sure some were at least curious. In the little square before the final square I met a nice couple and we talked a lot (video has a cut there) and they told me to visit some great towns nearby I never Heard of. One of those encounters ib this hobby)

DAL POLPACCIO di Numana e Sirolo al ginocchio di Castelnuovo di Porto, nello stivale italiano. Lazio o Latium e Italia en generale. Con la sua geografia montuosa e la sua famosa storia.
Avvicinamenti spettacolari del moderno drone, che ci regalano viste vantaggiose delle suddette città. L'ora, il clima, la stagione dell'anno, tutto influenza la nostra personale impressione di questi luoghi.
A soli 35 chilometri da Roma, tanta natura e pace moderna. Città silenziose come i sassi ei gatti del posto.
" Un giorno senza sorisso è un giorno sprecato", recita la lettura accanto a un poster di due amanti medievali. Ricordavo lo sfortunato pessimismo di Giacomo Leopardi.
Alla fine del video, dopo tante lotte secolari per impadronirsi di Castelnuovo di Porto, ci rimane solo questo castello vuoto, destinato a sporadiche mostre, mentre sotto, sulla grande scacchiera acciottolata di Piazza Vittorio Veneto, un una vecchia arranca in alcuni spazi della vitta, i bambini saltano, i giovani alfieri si incrociano in diagonale, alcuni can cani si muovono al posto dei vecchi cavalli, un bambino viene portato velocemente su un carro dai genitori, una coppia si bacia al centro della tavola, due vecchi che assomigliano a re discutono di strategia e una gigantesca regina si trova tra la telecamera ei tabellone stesso.

Caro Juan, come sempre rimango colpito da come riesci a descrivere questi luoghi in maniera davvero unica e così vicina alla realtà. Le sensazioni provate a Castelnuovo sono state anche per me davvero simili.

It's always nice to see these medieval towns, surrounded by greenery, always well kept. Beautiful wall gardens and relaxing place. Good filming time, a lot of people around especially at some of the Piazzas and the Chapel of St. Silvestro in Castellllo. I enjoyed video and looking forward to next one.
