Dear Dad’s boss… sorry he can’t come to work today, his other boss Todd had an emergency peacock feather x 5 demand. I bet that was a great play session after he waited FUREVER that day. 🤣
I was thinking “shades of Billi” when he kept repeatedly pressing “peacock feather.” But instead of pressing “mad” after not getting what he wanted, he then pressed “afternoon.” This just demonstrates that each cat has their own personality- and we love them all!
It's fascinating really. Todd is nowhere near as mad as Billi was and cares about his cat companions while Billi put up with them when she had to. I'd say Billi was closer in personality to Glamour.
@Nurichiri i think Glamour does care about her brothers but is also very vocal about what she doesn't want. I adore Glamour she's beautiful and id wager she's as loving as she is vocal. I think Glamour is a long haired Cali/Tortie they're the smartest and most vocal little girls with real sass. She's stolen my heart Lol!
Surely Dad realises that peacock feather and brushing are more important than work?😂 Todd finally concedes that it can be in the afternoon😂❤ Nobody can doubt Todd's ability to talk in 2 languages, and I am now very careful of how and what I say to my 2 adopted boys😂❤ Love you Todd!❤
Because of Todd I've learned that each of my children's ducks know their names. Now I praise them by name, and give each one attention using their names.
@NanaWilson-px9ij, see if you can teach them different treats. My hens know their names and have picked up some words. I think we are learning that animals are so much smarter than we realized because of the recordable buttons and these types of videos.
When I adopted my cat the worker told me what to do if I wanted to change her name. I was shocked when she responded the first time I called her. I didn’t know cats did that.
There's a five or six session training course available from Fluent Pet. I took it and it was very helpful, but I still haven't gotten more than accidental presses, but I also haven't implemented much from the classes yet😅
Todd was so excited to see you ! that was so sweet! Todd enjoys the time spent with you! love how he “attacked you” just pure love and happiness! Todd is so special of a cat!
Every cat I’ve ever had always greeted me when I came home from work. One even looked like he was smiling when I would pull into the driveway, I was told.
So adorable! Hubby and I are first time cat guardians. Our girls are 6. They both greet me at the door when I return from work and are better trained than my brother's dog. Lol
I had a long haired tuxedo kitty that would do a happy dance when I got home from work. She'd meet me at the door, jump up on the back of couch against front wall, run and jump onto back of a chair against other wall. Then she'd act like she was sharpening her claws, turn around and do that again, while looking at me. She was such a sweet kitty and I still miss her.
Oh!! Glad I fumbled the computer mouse. The bonus at the end was great! My relationship with my kitties (and one of my grandkitties) has improved so much, not that it was bad before! because I've watched Billie and Todd communicating with their humans. Although mine are quite sure they don't want to use buttons, thank you, I know they are cognitively as conscious as I am, and understand far more than I would have believed about what happens around them. Whatever makes us human, it has spilled over to our domesticated animals, and maybe they didn't need much of a boost anyway. I watch videos about wild animals, and I see more THINKING than Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom showed us. One thing about cats is they don't usually demonstrate a sense of humor, but dogs certainly laugh, and I think goats do, too.
I love it!!! I can't stop laughing! Peacock feather!!! over and over again!!! and then he figured it out--"afternoon" when Dad gets home!!! Wow! Is Todd smart or what! I love the last little bit showing Dad coming home after work & Todd was so happy to see him!!! How wonderful is that!!! 😂❤😻
Aww, he REALLY wanted to keep you from leaving! But when you stuck to your guns and refused to cave, he knew he couldn't stop you, but instead of pulling a billi and smacking "MAD", he reasoned it out and settled for "afternoon" when you get home... good job, Todd! That's the second time now I've seen his little excited attack dance when you get home... so cute! 😸
It's very impressive how many words Todd knows and how well he's able to express himself after learning for just a couple of years. He's such a smart boy!
Todd wants what he wants and that is Dad to stay home and play. Maybe Dad doesn’t understand, so Todd says it again, and again…. Well, that didn’t work… Maybe Dad is really going to go to work…. Hmm, Ok I will ask for play afternoon….. And that works! Here comes Dad! I am jumping for joy!
He was so happy to see you when you came home from work, he reminded me of my Giuseppe Puss when we were both younger, he used to get so excited when I returned home from work, he occasionally shows this behaviour if I am out shopping longer than usual.
I laughing so hard because I know if I got these word buttons my one cat would push the button for treats non stop and my other cat would be like Todd and want to always play. I love my cats and your Todd is so precious
@@PearlMagnoliaIt turns out in most multi-cat homes that only one cat is interested. Here with three cats only Todd uses the buttons. In the catmanjohn family Russell is the only one of the four cats who uses the buttons. What I find really interesting in these situations is that the "talking" cat will asks for things for the other cats.
Todd is super smart! I love that he can reason. I wonder if he can learn the word “Done” for when you have given him all the time you can give him for any given activity. You got it right!!! That is the best boss note ever
Exactly it!!
Work later. Peacock feather now. Good boy Todd❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🤣🥲😂🤣🥲😂🤣🥲😂🤣
over intercom: “We’ve got a level five peacock feather emergency. Repeat: level five!”
This is not a drill. Repeat, this is not a drill.
That’s what I was thinking 😂
🤣
🤣🤣🤣
@@amieclay8409 and a kitty dance party at the end 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
That was the cutest little happy dance I've ever seen!!
It really was! 😁
He wanted you to know he was seriously seriously serious about wanting peacock feather 😂
And he is not demanding. He can negotiate.
Todd being excited that you're home was utterly adorable. He was all amped up for that Peacock Feather.
Todd’s wiggle jump was just the cutest thing ever! 💙🙏🏻👍🏻
I rewound a couple of times to see that! It's absolutely adorable! For a kitty with balance issues he nailed this one!!❤❤❤
That little wiggle during his cat language 'invitation to play' showed just how excited he was.

LOVE the bonus video! Todd was jumping for joy! Adorable!
I thought we were going hear "peacock feather" at the end after Todd walked off camera. 🤣
Better “afternoon” than “mad.”
That's if he didn't fulfill his promise!
Todd passes the marshmallow test with flying colours.
The third time that he clicked Peacock feather to your silence, I couldn't help but laugh. He was very insistent.
He was probably thinking that Dad isn't very good at following Todd's orders, and maybe Dad needs more button training. 😂😂
That is one very relentless teenager you have there. Just don't ever give Todd a button that says, "car keys."
😂🤣👍👍
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

He is leaning on that peacock feather hard 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 then he puts it together!! Like he is giving himself something to look forward to!
Could be wrong, but I think Todd wants the peacock feather, but he can wait!
Todd videos are the highlight of my day! I just bought my girl her first 2 buttons. Wish me luck!
Good luck from me. I have a dog who would probably love the buttons.

Oooooohhh! I've never seen Todd sassy!
Then he worked it out! Good boy.
And what excitement when you got home!!! 😂❤
Todd was so excited to see you ! that was so sweet! Todd enjoys the time spent with you!
love how he “attacked you” just pure love and happiness! Todd is so special of a cat!
Peacock feather, dammit. 😂
Who says cats don't greet their hoomans like dogs do.
Every cat I’ve ever had always greeted me when I came home from work. One even looked like he was smiling when I would pull into the driveway, I was told.
Idjits who don't know what they're talking about, that's who! ❤ 🐈
So adorable! Hubby and I are first time cat guardians. Our girls are 6. They both greet me at the door when I return from work and are better trained than my brother's dog. Lol
That "attack" was the cutest thing ever!
Cat Daddy, that wasn't an attack, it was the cutest happy dance ever! ❤❤❤
You cannot ignore the TODD
Resistance is futile 😂
I hope Dad has money saved up for Cat University! Todd is totally ready for college!
Oh, that little wiggle was so cute!
He certainly acts like a kitten for being 7 years old ❤🎉❤
I’m hooked on following Todd’s journey with human language.
I love the Bonus! He was so happy to see you. ❤❤❤
Oh this made me giggle. Todd’s certainly persistent! I love the enthusiastic greeting you got when you came back, too ❤
Such a happy boy when daddy got home. So beautiful 😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Absolutely _persistent_ little man
Todd's happy dance...🤣
Todd was jumping for joy.
I repeat the ending a few times, I just love seeing how happy Todd is with that cute “dance”. Too adorable. ❤
Damn. He is so scary smart

Bless him, he got so excited when he saw you at the thought of “peacock feather “!
That was sooo cute at the end! Now that's a good relationship. I can learn a lot from that. People and animals helping each other meet their needs! 🥰

I LOVE TODD SO MUCH What a smart boy! 😊
So cute seeing Todd standing on his hind legs. I love it when cats do that. ❤❤❤
Oh geez, that was so funny at the end when you came of the stairs and Todd was ready to pounce! 😂

I can't imagine teaching multiple cats the buttons! I have 4 kitties. ❤

We can't always get what we want ... but we can sometimes try ... and we just get what we need paraphrased Rolling Stone.
Okay, dad. I'll wait....
