    Very informative - I have a UH083 (pre EX200 Hitachi) and mine stalls the engine every few feet when walking/travelling even when engine is on full power - someone said probably seals gone or is it potentially the brake stuck on?

      If I need to use a 2 speed motor on my mini excavator that was originally one speed, can I just plug the 2nd speed port and have it function as a single speed, or does their need to be some sort of flow through the 2nd speed port?

    Can you look into the Chinese mini excavators' hydraulic components, they are becoming more and more popular and their components "LOOK" similar, but are not because they are so small, they don't have the 'safety' devices built in because there is no room for them, so knowing more about them might make for good video! Thanks for this video.

    Hi , I m going to build a machine with the undercarriage of an excavator , no hydraulic background , so i have a question: do i need to keep oil pressure on the speed selector or is a pulse enough to shift and is it going to stay in that position? Or does the speed selector have a position in which it always is when not operated?

    • @Crispyduck701

      Usually you need constant pressure

    Are all of these final drives in low speed mode by default and sending oil to the shifter makes it go into high speed mode? If no hose is connected to that port at all would it still work in low speed mode?

      I think it would build up pressure in the motor by keeping the 2nd speed port shut. You can override the 2nd speed by connecting the 2nd speed port to the other return (T1/T2) connection. That's how I do it.

    What is the most likely cause of one track being weak?
    Going forward at max speed on both tracks the machine turns to the right. Up hill the right track cannot turn without the left track being engaged at the same time
    Down hill the machine can travel fast.

      @@hydraulics oh no you're breaking my heart , I don't know where to start. Any tips are appreciated!

    • @hydraulics
      @hydraulics  Рік тому +2

      @Attila first check would be final drive oil maybe. Then make sure idler and rollers all turning nice. Adjust track tension

    • @hydraulics
      @hydraulics  Рік тому +2

      @Attila then clean cab floor around travel pedals make sure nothing obstruct pilot control movement

    • @hydraulics
      @hydraulics  Рік тому +2

      Then I might check case drain flow at the swivel if that's easily accessible
