I have a question. I'm using Curve Follow Project with Tool Orientation Follows Path setting. I have a UR10e mounted directly overhead a hollow tube. When I follow the path of the outside at perpendicular to the tube surface, it works in the correct orientation. When I trace the inside of the tube at an angle (to reach the inside), the robot wants to swivel a joint 180 degrees to turn the tool (possibly for the robot to experience less stress?) that is not required even though the orientation I had would have worked. My question is how do I limit a joint in RoboDK when following a path? There are multiple variations of angles that the robot can perform to reach the same follow path result. How can I select between them?

You can double click on the joint limit labels of the robot panel and update the joint limits. I recommend you to contact us through the forum for technical questions: robodk.com/forum/
