Both. I think its great to use both normal tuning and experiment with open tunings. Using regular tuning allows you to build a map of all your scales and chords and the open tunings are great for opening up new creative possibilities. Open D, E, G, A and DADGAD are some great ones to play with. Thanks watching the channel!
