The thing that makes Mbappe so incredibly dangerous isn’t necessarily his skill (which is obviously still a big part of it) but that feeling of dread and impending doom everybody feels whenever he is on the pitch. He can score goals out of nowhere and you can never feel safe and secure when he is on the pitch.

Key distinction is Mbappe already has that aura of inevitability that rashford is just developing this season. And that is down to poor/inconsistent coaching like a lad said down there i.e playing under too many managers with different styles. But both are top stars. Mbappe is just ahead for now.
That's the thing he doesn't always have that at all. I've watched them head to head in Paris and OT and Rashford was the one he almost always inevitably scored.
But Mbappe's aura in world cups is different. I can't take that away from him.

Rashford is doing it in the prem Mbappe is in a farmers league, remember the level of competition each face weekly. Teams like Newcastle Southampton etc can turn up and give you a game and in other leagues it is nothing like that there is always generally 2 or 3 dominant sides.

Mbappe is classic and plays maturely to Rashford, but Rashford is in the form of his football career and he's improving rapidly.
I think what gives Mbappe the edge is his change of pace, vision, and passing ability. Mbappe is a more complete player atm.
If you think about it.Rashford in this form is actually good . Mbappe can't score free kicks but he's explosive pace puts him above . As a City fan I'm loving this side of Rashford and need to see Sancho get in this form. Otherwise let's just enjoy football and appreciate this talents

@@samrastagar8554He can develop the habit of playing like he has a dog in him. He just has to make running at defenders with more speed a habit. The only problem with that is that it might ruin his chances of creating space for a back or midfielder to run into. His passes into the box are the smartest and most creative I’ve seen from a player yet. He just lacks the crossing and that dog in him, yeah. He probably lacks that dog because he isn’t the most pacy but the potential he has is crazy because he is great at thinking and considering options, and that ability will only improve with his confidence because he’ll be more willing to cut inside and defenders will be more wary of that option, making the short pass into the box even more dangerous. He has the technique to beat that defender.
It's not about freekicks, in united Rashford has scored, maybe 3 or 4 since 2015, so I don't think, it's something that is really a big part of his attributes yet, overall mbappe is still miles ahead of him. He needs to keep this form for two straight seasons to be close to mbappe.

I'm French and i like Mbappe. The only thing that makes me nervous is all the people who gets angry when other people say Kylian isn't the best in terms of pure technique and his main strength is his speed. They understand that as "he has no technic" which is different statement!
Despite me being French, i always prefered Rashford because i think he is technically more gifted than Mbappe and i always thought the day Marcus reach his physical maturity he will then be in the debates for ballon d'or (ballon d'or level) and maybe become better than Mbappe in my eyes, because pure technic is the most important thing when i judge players. And only if Southgate had started Rashy, very possible that England would have beaten France.. Mbappe is highly favoured both in the French team and especially at PSG.. He's a player who was born with gold spoon in his mouth.. This I know for sure though, that Rashy will win the champions league before Mbappe, unless he leaves PSG..

They have similar abilities but one can say Mbappe is God tier while Rashford has now begun sprout and reach for top tiers.
