An example is forthcoming, with or without the help of Vāṇī, or from Śrīla Prabhupāda as he is, of his "direct" disciple and, presumably, his "indirect" disciple?
I hope so.
Precisely in what way, please, this "direct disciple" program you speak or write of is defined by Śrīla Prabhupāda, Founder-Ācārya of International Society for Kṛṣṇa Consciousness.
"Direct disciple" is explained, or defined, anywhere in any Vāṇī of any Vaiṣṇava-sampradāya today on the planet?
What other kinds of disciples, other than "direct", might there be available in the Sampradāya, or of the ISKCON, -of which Śrīla Prabhupāda is remaining the current Ācārya.

Prabhupada has express his deep desire: "I'm happy if only one follow my instructions." The problem is that among his leaders very few understand the meaning of "following his instructions". That's why we have so many problem in ISKCON.....a dysfunctional Vaishnava society....

One can attain the path of liberation from material bondage only by rendering service to highly advanced spiritual personalities.
These personalities are impersonalists
and devotees.
Whether one wants to merge into the Lord’s existence or wants to associate with the Personality of Godhead, one should render service to the mahātmās. For those who are not interested in such activities,
who associate with people fond of
women and sex,
the path to hell
is wide open.
The mahātmās are equipoised.
They do not see any difference between one living entity and another. They are very peaceful and are fully engaged in devotional service.
They are devoid of anger, and they work for the benefit of everyone.
They do not behave in any abominable way.
Such people are known as mahātmās.

So in April of 1977 nobody was ready for becoming a spiritual master, non of them were pure devotee.
This is a natural tendency of a pure devotee he sees everyone else in higher level than himself. Don't misunderstood him.
