I am a Canadian and from Canada I am not an Indian however I still love the show Anupamaa, Rajan sir the character of Adhya is beyond misbehaving for a 12 year old,as a mother I feel we can’t show this series to our children or allow them to watch as it might mislead them. I know people will say don’t show this series of Anupama to your children. If you don’t like the character of Adhya however he just mentioned that his show is for all viewers means his audience he has targeted for all viewers of all ages so the content also should be created for all viewers to watch, including children, but the character of Adhya is beyond reality of how a 12 year old should behave towards her parents, I would stress on the adoption is because she is an adopted child. This gives a very wrong impression to people or parents who are considering to go in for adoption usually adopted children are very grounded and mature , knowing the fact that someone has given them a family and would be grateful for being accepted, however, the situation here is she does not even have empathy nor she’s not even grateful for the fact that mother at the age of 45+ adopts her brings her into her family and tries her hardest to love her at the end she is separates her father and her mother, and now knowing how her father still feels love for Anupama, she is forcing her father to marry another woman in a nutshell she wants Shruti to be her mother is because she feels she needs a new mom. No new moms are not available in a market, but her character is portraying negativity that some of us fans or the audience are literally feeling so disgusted to watch .This character has to end somewhere, I am also a director and independent producer however, I would say please can you focus on continuity because there are a lot of loopholes in the show I know this is daily so you are working very hard. You’re very renowned director and it’s not easy for the production team to put together an episode daily, and everybody works very hard but a little bit more connection to the story. I apologize. I’m not putting down anybody all the actors RG,GK,Shruti ,Aura and all the actors work is commendable. Hats off to all of them no offence to them, but the characters are a little bit disappointing. I know you’ll say that if I don’t like what is being produced don’t watch it, but that is the point we do like the show Anupamaa and as a fan and audience we are finding logic and reasoning to each fictional characters.

I am sorry to say that Anupamaa is way farther away from being a show about women empowerment, as a woman and who even though being white woman has gone through many struggles but yet I decided to take a step up and stand in my life, where as Anupamaa is constantly portrayed as a useless, domestic help, degradation by her children, adoption gone wrong, husband and men progress well in the show, her costumes are also very depressing but other characters are well dressed in the show except for Anupamaa she is always dressed very poorly if she has skill where is the recognition and progress towards her skill, you introduced a hero into her life who will empower Anupamaa but the narrative ends up with her falling in love and getting married it’s a beautiful concept and frankly speaking I started to watch Anupamaa only from the college reunion of Anuj I loved the adult love track but where is Anupamaa now in the US still struggling, why only Anupamaa struggle,be homeless while Anuj is a successful businessman in America,Vanraj is successful at his career, In a nutshell Anupamaa looks like she has nothing in her life to live for she is totally broken but yet she has to stoop to everything to survive, this is far from woman empowerment this is 2024 and the world has moved on by the speed of light.
U are wrong 80s and 90s tv shows were ahead of its time so many veteran film directors made iconic shows in 80s and 90s..It was a golden era of indian tv..Producers like you and ekta Kapoor ruined the tv content..
