yea i was thinking that too hopefully we can see louchas hidden side in the next patch in the main story line
they actually dont synergize that well at all. Blade doesnt synergize with shields and Luocha is the best healer, so he solves that problem. But you need Blade to get hit, so you need a unit that can place aggro pull on him. Luocha can't do that. Lynx is rumored to have aggro pull with her kit, so she will be (unless it gets changed) the best pair for Blade.
Problem is, she is a 4 star so its very unlikely she will be good enough to solo sustain a team.

We need blade to get hit/decrease his hp to proc his passive. If you use Clara/fire trailblazer then they'll be the one who gets hit not blade. The only way to raise aggro on blade is through march 7th shield. But I don't know if the passive still gains a stack if blade is shielded. From what I'm guessing it's probably not. If it works then march can be his best partner but if not then she can be a liability for blade instead. That's why if sometimes in the future they release a character that can increase others aggro then that character can be his best partner. Nevertheless blade can still perform well even if he's not hit as long as u keep spamming his basic attack as his enhanced basic attack also decrease his hp ergo increase his passive stacks, just don't expect that you'll proc the passive as easily though.

@@jittu_1462from my very limited knowledge dots deal more dmg when you have a def shred unit so my ideal team would be sw, kafka,sampo, bailu.
As you can probably tell bailu kafka for increased chance to apply electro, sampo for dot vulnerability, sw for def shred.
I would also like to point out that this isn't the only team you can make, serval has decent dot damage already even without sampo, and luka will also be a dot applier if i'm correct, a phys dot applier this time or bleed.

Who’s SW?
Blade only use 1 SP every 3 turns(1 for his skill and his enchaned basic attack doesn't create SP last for 3 turns) so safe to say he can ditch out some damage while using less skill point.

his EBS may not create SP but you don't lose SP aswell in the following 3 turns.
so if you have 3 SP, it will remain 3 if blade attacks with EBS, not like most dps that relies too much on skill.

@@termina2737Based on leak kit, Fu Xuan is basically a meat shield in the team lol (60% of DMG that your allies receive will go to Fu Xuan instead, so basically kinda like Dehya but much much better)

@FBOI2023 I would say yes? Fire MC shield isn’t even good in the first place anyways, their main mechanic is basically taunt and deal decent Fire DMG scale off DEF.
The thing is, I REALLY like the looks of everyone in 1.2, but the new Dan Heng in 1.3 has been someone I've been saving for since his design was leaked at launch, and Fu Xuan also looks like a lot of fun so for Kafka and Blade, that means I'm probably just gonna wait for their reruns. Blade scales on his max hp, he doesn't particularly need his hp to the lowest to deals good amount dmg + his shu hu gift stack based the dmg he take. He also can self heal. Arlan is more Hu Tao.

He will be hard to manage but still possible. Just, harder. Because he uses multiple SP to upgrade his attack. But he's not released yet, so can't know for sure.

While Blade and Kafka are very tempting, I will wait for IL in 1.3. He is just too beautiful to pass, and Danheng is my favourite character in the game. SO maybe I'll try to get those two when they eventually come back (in 200 years lol)

Blade is not split scaling, he is double scaling. Split scaling would mean his basic attack scales off ATK while his ult scales off HP which is not the case for blade since the multipliers are both from HP and AtK combined. Man, you've really been missing a lot with your videos

@@Gurenn83 he even compared him to Xinyan of all characters. Someone who's damage scales off Atk but her shield scales off DEF with a constellation that adds dmg based on DEF hence the split scaling. The likes of Alhaitham and Nahida are the ones most comparable where their damage scaling is atk+EM.
@@batperson3532ot to mention that he included arlan right after announcing blade's character while pretty much saying that 'he can so the same kind of thing'. Meanwhile if he really read characters' abilities he'd know that arlan's maximum damage is dependant on the lower his hp is. However blade doesn't have that issue as his maximum damage output scales off of his attack and max hp. What he also left out is that his big ultimate deals lots of damage based off those multiplyers including the total amount of hp he's lost during the fight. Sorry for typing so much, I really needed to go on a rant because of a few frustrating things in this video
right now my primary team is jing yuan + tingyun + luocha + himeko, maybe i could replace himeko with Blade, pull some natashas copies in the way and leave himeko for a secondary team (id love if anyone could give me some opinions)
I think the first team it's good for Himeko you can use sampo for the dot Natasha or bailu for healer and Flex slot for what ever u need, btw im not a meta player so dont take me to serious 😅😅

I've read some people's comment here that still don't quite understand on how Blade's kit supposed to work, and has a wrong notion that his damage will increase the lower his current HP is.
To sum it up, Blade damage doesn't scale the lower his HP like Arlan does. In short, his kit revolves around the TOTAL of HP you've lost in a battle, and that scale capped at 90% of his MAX HP. Meaning that no matter how much you've healed your Blade, that TOTAL HP lost is the one that count. Example, your Blade takes damage from an enemy that depleted 10% of his MAX HP, even when healed, that 10% scaling is going to stick around, and will add up the more HP you consume. However, this scaling will reset once he uses his ultimate. That's why you want to consume as much HP as possible before usiing his burst to deal shit tons of damage.
i'll go for kafka and i dont mind lose 50:50 as long in her banner. i dont mind get duplicate eidolons for clara or bailu. more eidolons means more damage for clara and more support for bailu (for kafka team). and yep i dont mind get sampo, serval, or luka as long i can build my DoT team.
You can't really bank on getting Clara or Bailu tho. If i had 0 Pity and no guaranteed 50/50, i'd pull on Blade, because that atleast justifies Arlan existing on that banner, as a Copium, in case you loose 50/50 on Blade, so you can at least play E6 Arlan with a similar playstyle as Blade.
Meanwhile if you loose 50/50 on Kafka you're stuck with a subpar DoT team that will never be as good as if you had Kafka.
And if you loose 50/50 on Blade that only means, you're guaranteed Kafka, Fu Xuan or Dan Heng IL.
@@Element_Doom first, i dont care if i lose because my jade is enough to get two 5 stars (it will reach 24k jade later in 2nd phase 1.2). second, i dont care if i lose and stuck with DoT team because i want them to create a DoT team. serval and sampo is enough

Both Blade and Kafka will surely improve my team’s Wind and Lightning damage. The sad part is I will surely use my already-built Dan Heng and Serval much less if I got either of them. But lore-wise, Kafka is more interesting for me. 😅
Kafka works well with Asta since she almost has guaranteed burn.
Can't wait for my Kafka to come home. I've been building up my Sampo and Serval for the last month or so and with prepping for Kafka's arrival, I'm really excited to see how stupid I can make the dot team. I'm even hoping to get an eidolon for her if I can avoid losing 50/50 both times, she's just so cool to me.
Instead of c1, maybe can get the weapon for her but also depends how good the weapon is

I'm so torn on whether I want Blade or not. I want to save for Jingliu since she's my favorite, but since it'll be a while I'd let to get him. I guess the real question is whether a Blade/Jingliu team will be good (like both ran together).
i pulls both blade and jingliu with their lightcone too , blade is not a hypher carry like seele or jing yuan, he's more like childe or raiden shogun in GI , he can be very flexible in any teams with 0.33 sp per turns and also self healing and 6,7k hp , also that his 2nd BIS is secret vow at s2 it would out dmg every other lightcone except blade's unreachable side
Not always will a split scaling character be bad for example in genshin almost all the geo characters like noel albedo itto scales on both def and atk and yet they have pretty good dmg output
I think you don't know the meaning of split scaling. A split scaled character usualy have skills that use two or more stats to form its output damage. Itto, Noel and Albedo's skills damage is based in DEF and NOT in ATK. They don't NEED ATK. They NEED DEF. ATK is useless for them. They need Crit Rate/DMG as every single damage dealer in the game but that doesn't make them split scaling too. Blade otherhand have skills that uses his HP and his ATK to form his numbers. That's a split scaled character. Blade needs HP, ATK, Energy Regen, Crit Rate, Crit DMG and some form of Taunt because Mihoyo really wanted to fucked up his kit. Blade kit is just a mess right now. It's actually sad because he could have been a great sup-DPS
@@arionmoschetta You are just plain wrong. Itto converts his defense into atk for his burst so he literally is a split scaling character just as much as Blade is. Same with Noelle. Why do you think some people use him with Bennett? You don't have to build into atk at all for both since they benefit more from the latter, just know that if you get atk% substats you're still getting a small dmg increase. Also the only part of Albedo's kit that scales off of def is his skill, please don't doompost, You build him with Hp, but he can also benefit from atk substats and buffs to an extent, which is a good thing
Itto's multiplier are attack, his burst just convert the defense he have into his attack (hu tao does the same thing,also c6 Noelle) albedo tho,his skill alone can make up for lacking damage his burst does because it scale from attack, you can just focus for defense,while character like xinyan, it's truly complicated on what you truly need, attack or defense, neither are good
@@arionmoschetta nahida and alhaitam (also kuki) are true definition of split scaling. They scales with both em and attack,and you're fine with just focusing on em. But they're done justice tho the attack and em amount of their multiplier is so balance that you can't really go wrong with either stat it's still really good (but of course em focused will be better on spread reaction)

1. Albedo has split scaling. His skill only scales with DEF while his burst only scales with ATK. If you heavily invest in DEF which most people do, then his burst does no dmg. That's literally what split scaling mean. If you invest in DEF, then your burst does no dmg. If you invest in ATK, then your skill does no dmg.
You are confused between split scaling and hybrid scaling. Albedo has split scaling, as I have explained. Alhaitham has hybrid scaling, as both his skill and burst scale with both ATK and EM, so you can build either ATK or EM, or a mix of both and he would still be fine. If Alhaitham's skill only scales with ATK, and his burst only scales with EM, then he'll become a split scaling character, like Albedo. Another example of hybrid scaling is Hu Tao, who scales both on ATK and HP and does more dmg the lower her HP is, very mechanically similar to Blade here. YOU are the one who doesn't understand what split scaling means.
2. Saying ATK is useless on Itto is plain wrong, AND stupid. The way Itto works is that he passively converts DEF into ATK. His offense still scales off ATK. Building DEF lets you double dip on being tanky without losing too much ATK. At the end of the day, Itto still scales off ATK to do dmg, and any sort of ATK buff will benefit him. So very often you will see Bennett being run in Itto teams, because Bennett's ATK buff will work with Itto. Same with Noelle C6, go read it. It literally says "Sweeping Time *increases Noelle's ATK* by an additional 50% of her DEF." Her C6 converts her DEF into ATK. She still scales off ATK to do dmg. So yeah, you were saying that ATK is useless on Noelle and Itto is just stupid. Many C6 Noelle mains actually build ATK sands on her as she ends up doing more dmg, at the cost of being less tanky.
3. Your rant about Blade is again, wrong, but you're too ignorant to even understand what split scaling even means so you really should just shut up. Try to have some reading comprehension next time.
I'm mostly leaning towards skipping 1.2 so I hope everyone the best of luck in the next patch!

The way I see it, the only way pulling for blade is “worth it” is if he’s able to do insane amounts of dps. If he simply sacrifices HP with no trade off for higher damage that would make him a net loss on any team.
waiting for 1.3, then waiting for ppl to test how good Fu Xuan and Lynx are. Otherwise I might just save lots of tickets for future characters.

pretty sure kafka's DOT nuke got nerfed really hard at e0 and if you want to actually use it you have to get e2, but we'll have to see on release if her kit will stay this way

I'm already committed to pulling for Kafka, lost my last 50/50 and have about 115 pulls saved so she's 100% guaranteed. Whether I go for any 1.3 characters depends on if Jingliu is going to be in 1.4 or not. If she isn't then I'll probably go for Fu Xuan and Lynx.

I still don't know who to pull. I'm F2P but I saved all stellar jade from launch. I got Gepard, Bronya and Yanqing from standard banner. I'm looking for a character/banner that has the most pull value like getting Kazuha in Genshin.
Split? Isnt blade dual scaling atk n HP? Split is like Dehya, dual is like Alhaitham.
And while yes, Kafka would want to have some DoT already applied before moving, but having more spd = more turns = more DoT procs, so losing 1 turn of initial proc is a small draw back for 3+ turns in later cycles.
I wonder how quantum break will interact with kafka, like... I'm thinking a team with sampo, hook, kafka and lynx trying to break with lynx
I don't know about leaks, but lynx could be for all intents and purposes "quantum natasha" and I would still build her to be the one that breaks the enemies even if it's only basic attacking just to see funny numbers
I don't think the "quantum break" is considered as DoT. The DoTs are bleed, burn, wind shear, and shock. Basicly any status that you can apply to enemies w/o breaking their toughness are DoT.
Actually excited to use Arlan when the Longevous Disciple set releases you could in theory go full Crit Damage depending how much Crit % it gives
I doubt it'll give more then 20% but it should be interesting!
Does Himeko work with Kafka?
i did notice that luocha works really synergistically with arlan. so it would make sense that he would work well with blade too

As a new player without Luocha or Bronya or really any good match with Blade, I'll wait and pull for Kafka. I love her voice/design/everything too, even though Blade is edgy and interesting too, but I think I'll get a better overall team with the 4 stars that come along with Kafka. I hope by skipping Blade I will save some wishes and can also pull for Dan Heng's new form in 1.3!
I like to save my guarantee for IL DanHeng, but I really need a lightning character that's not Serval.
I do enjoy DoT, but it looks like she won't be that powerful without Es. I'm kind of stuck I guess.

Maybe Fu Xuan Seele SW Lynx will be overkill with tank/shield + healer but it'll be an amazing MoC team
I originally wanted blade, but the more i looked at his pants i realized a lot of male characters have the same dress pants design on them. Its like such a small thing, but im trying to be really picky about who i roll for so i dont regret it. Sorry bladie, maybe next time when mama have more moola 😢

Finally i've found someone with the same pants issue. Thats actually sad for me that lots of male characters have a really cool upper body design, but this plain jeans...it feels like they are missing something in their design. And i just cant stop looking at their pants and have a feeling how plain they are in comparison with the rest of body design
My meta team is FMC, Himeko, SW, and Luocha all f2p so my saved up xtals will be for pulling for sampo who is my 2nd team's main dps and is E1 so maybe I can get lucky and get another himeko
As long blade not like hutao is cool since he doesn't need to have low hp do dmg , bronya yunkong still good for him since bronya E buffs Atk and crit dmg ( a lot about) yeah that atk still good like bennet on hutao + her ult is dmg bonus so its pretty cool for blade
Are there any other rumored upcoming Wind element dps characters? Cuz that makes Blade seem appealing, as the only other Wind damage character is Dan Heng.
None that I know of. Which is why I am pulling for Blade and his LC. I need a Wind DPS for my team.

problem with people i'm seeing with a DoT comp is that they're forcing a harmony character in mix. it should be 3 DoT nihility especially with sampo since he's basically the harmony in the DoT team. if anyone wants to insert a harmony there the best one would be bronya since she can give kafka an extra turn to use her skill and proc more DoTs, but its much better to just have sampo and luka (IF he applies bleed since bleed is the best scaling DoT)

Also, definitely pulling for Blade. I find both his looks and gameplay engaging. I have a soft spot for floral motifs.

I've been saving for Blade this entire time. Ive got, like, 90 wishes. After I get Blade I'll get Luchoua on his rerun. Until then, I'll be maining Nat with him!
lynx may be a good substitute for nat when she releases since she adds aggro to blade when she heals! so yeah at some point luocha might even be optional

Please say damage over time or dot(dots), not dee o tee. This term isn't from HSR, it's an old term and always said as dot.
Kafka has a better banner. A desirable 5 star. And new meta on that banner alone. She'll break records mark my words
So they did nerf his skill? I'm pretty sure it was SP neutral before, consuming HP instead of SP. That's much worse than the DMG nerf he got during CBT.
