@@fritski2381 I know! I had the money, it’s just my mother said no. When you are in high school and she’s my ride, I can’t really fight my way to get her to let me. I’ll see if I can go the next time!
@@pawsomegirl12 You'll see them one day and you won't regret it! When I was 11 my bro showed me Slipknot. I was really going through hell back then and the moment I heard their music, I knew my life wouldn't be the same. I was lucky enough that Slipknot was my very first concert, at 14 years old. My mom never liked their music, and she initially had a negative reaction to her two teenage children listening to music with such heavy, explicit lyrics. But she came around when she saw what a positive impact they had on my life, and she bought us tickets and went with us. Even though it wasn't her thing, she wanted us to be happy and to have a fun night. I'd been really struggling and I guess I didn't realize how badly I needed that concert until I was actually there. I needed a night to just lose myself in the music and not stress or really think about anything. And Slipknot's shows are something else entirely. You really can't put into proper words the feeling that overcomes you at concerts, but it's my favorite feeling! You know, I never thought I'd find myself at one of their shows, it felt like an impossible task. A dream just out of reach, and then I finally made it to one, and it was the best night of my life! You'll get to one of their shows one day, and when you do you'll feel like you've found yourself one big, crazy ass family. And you'll have an amazing, unforgettable time!
God, I wish I could go to one of these concerts, but my mom won't let me (understandably because I'm a teen). I hope Corey is right about "Slipknot will live forever", because I will save up to see them live.
Just do it bruh lie and say your gonna hang out with some friends and if you get caught you can’t get in trouble forever never know when their last tour will be
I am still so surprised that no people can remember "but it's made of all the things i have to take" at the beginning. You can totally hear how everyone goes quiet..Like come on people, THE SONG IS 18 YEARS OLD. Know the lyrics if you're going on the concert :D !
I just got back from the Omaha show tonight and wanted to say thank you for these videos. Can relive this shit every day now thanks to your recordings...only closer lol
Im seeing them tonight in Greensboro, im bring my homie who loves them and has NEVER been to any concert. His first concert is gonna be fucking slipknot
Как бы грустно не было это признавать но slipknot подходит к своему завершению, кори и другим уже скоро или уже есть 50 лет жаль что заканчивается история такой великой группы как slipknot.
This tour is the first time in many many years I’ll be missing the show… but that’s okay since I really could care less about the opening acts…. Ho99o9 and cypress hill, don’t get me wrong cypress hill is cool but not who I wanna see opening for slipknot 🤣 Seen them 7 times.
Interesting to pick apart his vocal technique. He's flat on a lot of his long notes, which are only an F#. And he's cheating on every part where he would normally have to use a mix of head and growl voice. Audience participation time. The only hard parts to nail in this song, are actually the words "into my". The growl up to it "I push my fingers" is unpitched and low stress (watch Melissa Cross's videos), and the held "Eyes" is just an F#, clear and easy. The follow through is all open voice until the "I'm not gonna make it." Which again is unpitched (throat noise vs vocal chord engagement), and literally as stressful as snoring. Corey Taylor is brutally over-rated. If you wanna see a real pro do this, watch anything with Devin Townsend, or any early Phil Anselmo from the start of the Cowboys tour. Night and day difference between the real thing and this dude.
Coreys control with his screams now is insane...man i needa stop making excuses and go see them live already
if i manage to buy the tickets imma see them on december, im 17 by september so this will be a hell of a moment
You gotta see them live, trust me they are so fucking good. They still to this day are the best band I've seen live, I saw them in 2019.
I’m hoping to see them in Wisconsin for Knotfest
Totally do it bro, you’ll never see anything else like it
I can tell u right now, DO IT!!! They’re incredible in concert!
I get chills when the crowd sings duality
Corey's voice is so fkn epic!!!
Thanks
I’m so sad I couldn’t have gone to this concert and I’m so happy that he will come back! Hopefully it’s not on a school day😩
I wish you end up being able to as well, every concert they do is a life changing experience
