Honestly, the big Darth Vader is the only set in this line that seems worth it. Especially this recent Costco exclusive variant with an all black/red finish and a red Stormtrooper, the novelty sells it that lil bit more
Wow these are just sad and weird. The only one I’m interested in is the metal C-3PO because they never made one for Mission Fleet, but no way am I buying that huge R2-D2 (which is only the front half of him 😅) to get a tiny Threepio. Hopefully the little figures get released separately at some point since they at least look pretty decent. Thanks for this review anyway to show us what’s happening with this toy line!
i'm not paying more for Metal. It's not the same as buying a Metal Tie-Fighter...that would be cool. But no, so far i've bought none of these and have no intention on doing so unless that crank-down the price...and now that i've seen your video, give them articulation. I thought they could sit. no sit? no thanks.
i saw this...then i saw the price tag. $19.99? are they insane? this isn't worth $10 to me, much less $20. Maybe they can get the prices down on these, because they are insane on all these so far.
hmmm, i've only seen a few, but combined with the pictures you show, it appears that none of the HUMAN figures are made. Maybe because of metal? maybe because the face-rights costs more?
7:50 yep, that is what i thought. If i were a mom, i'd totally pass on these. No way i'm giving metal to my child to throw around the house.
Hasbro already did their version of Imaginext. I was right there at the beginning of those with the Landspeeder, Luke, and the original figures
Metal? oh, that's going to hurt next time Jonny is having a temper tantrum and this goes through the window of the house.
$20 would have gotten you a CASTLE just a few years ago (say 4 years ago) in Imaginext.
The Fisher Price website lists the Rebel ion cannon from episode 5 as another figure scale set. Probably basically the same as this set.
The turret is good for customizing. I would replace the gun with other twin cannons.

So Hasbro got rid of the playskool line?
