Thats because in a real situation rushing can cause mistakes and mistakes can take someones life. One of the things they say in the SLCFD is "Slow is steady and steady is fast" when you begin to rush you cause more stress for yourself and those around you.
Top tier.
I'd train up for that competition
I would have liked to try that. Thirty years ago.

Nice drop at the end

Ugh... my fat arse would've given up probably on the 2nd floor of climbing the stairs.

bull shiit we just did our firefighter challenge and our sled wasn’t lubed up, then we had three lengths of 1’3/4 the fucked us on this
I just did the sled today for our annual CPAP. I WISH it had been lubed like that thing. You gotta beat the hell out of a dry sled.
This looks so much easier than when we do it at the TA lol
Is this a gameplay
That was quick
What was that quote about "men being worthless"?
POLSKA !!
I did this in Canada and we had to be masked up on air
the FCC is not about being on air lol
@@caomhnoir386 I don’t remember saying anything about the FCC. What a dumb response
If competitors were on air that might be impressive. There's no real reason to even require packing up if the SCBA is not being used.
He has gone faster on air and this was during covid times masks were cleaned between competitors but the health dept at this location wouldn’t allow.
This is even impressive without any gear on.
@@rickstephensmediaFing amazing! The “hose simulators” on the tower are NOT lightweight. 😂
There's cameras on them- the officers will definitely compete then!
Why are they not doing this on air? Also evacing a person upright puts the victim right up where the heat and smoke is.
I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure this is a competition, not a working structure fire with entrapment.
@@seankodzis7310 Why do they wear any of that gear then? Why do they pull and use a charged line if there is no fire?
Yeah now In real life to help the average Joe they take forever...
not if there's a camera or an 18 yo coed
Haha you people will hate on cops, firefighters, soldiers, doctors. What’s wrong with you.

Your full of shit bud.
