Wow! This backs up my theory why metal is the greatest form of music and has such a close community. It's the most accurate expression of human conciousness. Every raw emotion, beauty, power, every up and down of the human soul can be maximized and projected through metal. Amazing song!
I think it's possible to find somebody who makes patches and backpatches in your country. That'll be more effective than waiting for NR to launch this kind of merch ;)

The vocal passages are magnificent and the combo of brutality with the female vocals is mind-blowing. Not since Tristania’s Beyond the Veil have I heard a beauty and the beast approach as gorgeous as this one.

I'll use my own account to answer since our vocalist already answered on the band account, but as the songwriter I have to say Tristania was a huge influence on me during my teenage years (especially Widow's Weeds and Beyond the Veil), so that means a lot to hear! They've definitely played a role in influencing the band on a musical level :)

After writing and recording 3 full lengths since 2015 I needed to reset a bit before starting the next one, the Perennial EP was just a way to show off Tom and Lucy's vocals and let people know we're still going strong even though it's not the usual one year on/one year off release schedule we'd been doing so far
Thank you! That was the intention, really wanted to wrap up the energy and inspiration felt during the early days with the newer sounds playing a supporting role. I've been home for a bit in New Zealand so I actually wrote and recorded it all back in the same room that I wrote and recorded Heritage of the Natural Realm back in the day before I moved, so it's a special song and a bit of a return to where we started for us. I was a huge fan of that series growing up! A lot of my writing is influences by the Mushishi OST by Toshio Masuda and Akira Yamaoka's Silent Hill OSTs! There's been a lot of that in our piano parts since we started back in the Empires days!
So happy to see the growth of this band, I remember buying the empires of ash CD a few years ago when I was 15 or 16 it was one of the first cds I'd ever bought. Keep it up guys!
