45996 BAHAMAS brings echoes of the past to modern day EUSTON 21/10/2023

A video of The Railway Touring Company's day trip from London to Manchester "The Mancunian" which includes the empty stock arriving at London Euston behind a Brush Class 47 47804, preparing Jubilee Class 45996 BAHAMAS for the journey, the Caledonian sleeper train arriving and departure from the terminus behind 45996. It was a great occasion to see LMS steam back at Euston. The tour returned diesel hauled from Rugby.

Well no steam used the rebuilt showcase new electric train station as far as I know towards the end of London steam but it was great to see the right locomotive in the right place.

I caught the other tour on the same day that was going to Carnforth behind the class 47s earlier this morning

There were two going up north yesterday but I presume it was the Cumbrian Coast Express.
