- Honeyz, performing their fourth single 'Never Let You Down', live on Top of the Pops, late summer '99. For tales about Top of the Pops and many more bands from the late 90s pop era, check out my book 'Freak Like Me: Confessions of a 90s Pop Groupie' (by Malcolm McLean), out October 2019. www.freaklike.me
stunnin group cant beat the 90s
Good to see I'm not the only one who has Honeyz TOTP footage.
I'm still listening in June 02, 2021
stunning no groups today could get close
The group could have easily had recorded a 14-track second album with Mariama with these tracklist:
Won't Take It Lying Down, Never Let You Down, Love to Love You Baby, Why?, The Way You Make Me Feel, Why You Wanna Lie On Me, In The Street (rerecorded with Mariama), Not Even Gonna Trip (original version), More Than One Night, Just As I Am, I Don't Know, I Need You Now, Love is Strange, and A solo from Mariama.
To my dear grandmother love you forever this was your favourite song 🇬🇧 ❤️
wish i could back to 90s honeyz what a sexy group
They defined what Honeyz really meant
They performed this one at CD:UK as well, but I can't find it online.
Can only hear Celenas and Mariamas vocals
John Evans it’s because Naima never sang
Dillon May on one of the tracks on their second album she sings lead I was surprised
Mariama and Heavenli were great as two strong vocalists . It was the stronger line up. I loved this group. They deserved to be bigger . The line up changes messed it up for them I think. They were starting to get noticed esp in Usa
@@jackjackson3769 Heavenli isn't the strong vocalist you guys think she is.
@@iampause I know well she wasn't. But she really messed the group up
