This is not an ordinary dharma teaching. It is the manifestation of a great compassionate vow and a supreme empowerment. On March 3, 2012, at Busan Bodhi Meditation Center in South Korea, a great compassionate blessing ceremony was held. During the ceremony, Grandmaster JinBodhi taught us in down-to-earth language that Heaven and Hell are created by the mind. The tinkling sounds of the singing bowl led the participants into the pure, calm Eastern Lapis Lazuli Pure Land. In addition, Grandmaster JinBodhi hit himself on the hand with a discipline ruler as a means of repenting for all sentient beings and eliminating their negative karma. Every time you watch this video, you experience physical and mental purification and the eradication of negative karma.
