Hi Steven. Greetings from South Africa! Thanks for an excellent & informative set of videos. I tackled my 1997 328i Manual's cooling system over the weekend and replaced a bunch of stuff: thermostat & housing, water pump, both belts, main hoses, expansion tank + cap. It would not have been possible without your patient and explanatory approach to making your videos. Keep up the good work - you're definitely doing your bit to keep them alive!...BTW, E36's rule! I've had an E90 330i, E46 325i and 330i and 2x E36 328i's and my E36's is/was by far my favorites. Love 'em!
E36 fanatics Thank you very much for these videos.i have a 1996 328i e36 convertible and i lost coolant system but i don't know where is located.so i decided to rebuilt all the coolant system:thermostat, visco coupler, water pump, radiator and expansion tank.i think it's better to have a new coolant system that is the weak point on the e36.but i don't see in your video the engine drain plug of the coolant system located next the exhaust manifold.do you drain it?is it difficult to located this drain plug? Thank you so much for all your videos👍
Hello. I've got 1998 316i M43 1.6 e36 compact. I want to flush cooling system and not sure if previous owner used the right coolant. Which coolant is good for M43 pink or green? thanks.
The radiator sits on top of those little plastic brackets ? Or under ? When I removed the old radiator I had to pull it up past those brackets. I’m about to go mount the new one and I was worried about trying to fit the radiator in past those brackets as they’re in the way
These videos were a life saver thank you
