Honestly I'm opposite I love the art on the outside so much that I am so damn happy this is a more usable color story for many occasions! So often palettes that are stunning on the outside are on my shelf where I never see them and this one I will have in my view so much more! Makes it way more valuable of a purchase to me!!!❤❤❤❤
The palette packaging is gorgeous! I think they missed the boat not including rich, jewel-toned greens and purples. You’re right, the inside doesn’t really match the outside. Still a pretty color story.
Agree. There isn't anything "dragon-y" about it, to quote Amanda. If they had gone with a springtime fairy theme, then the colors would make more sense. I was so let down by this because the packaging led me to believe it'd be mostly vivid jewel tones in purples, blues and greens. Also, I checked out their other palettes and they all look kinda the same. A lot of matte browns, neutral leaning purples and pinks with pops of green. They're all technically different but look as if they all came from the same collection.
It's super pretty inside and out even if the inside and outside don't match 🤣

hallo Amanda, I agree 100%. I love dragons , godzilla and dinos. I was so excited by the cover but can't buy just foe the cover.
Amanda, their other palettes are beautiful and have greens and purples too. I will definitely get this one once it becomes part of a sale.

I had bought the elf duochrome liquid shadow in Mer-mazimg and it saved me from buying this palette. That was the color I wanted most.
That peachy-coral shade Breath just doesn't fit, and I wish that it had been a rich forest or hunter green matte. Other than that one major pet peeve of mine, I really do love most of it. Will I get it? I'm not 100% sure, since I have your Oden's Eye Flora palette, plus Danessa Myricks Lightworks 5 palette. Those give me perfect "dragon" like shades!

I completely get what your saying. I felt the same way about the palette. I love the cover (easy because I love dragons) and was expecting a completely different color story with a lot more color. So I was very disappointed and won't be purchasing it.

This color story seems more like a dragonfly than a dragon. Like you said, it’s beautiful but it doesn’t match the cover art.
I totally agree that the packaging doesn’t fit the inside color story. Both are really lovely, just not the best fit for each other. Gorgeous look that came out of it though! 💜

@MakeupJustForFun yeah that's how I feel about it. I love the theme but this color story (though pretty) doesn't quite match.
This isn't the right color story for me, but it's always interesting to learn about a new-to-me brand.
If only we could pick both the packaging and the colors that go in them.😂

I don’t think the inside colors match the outside. We should have a red shimmer for a fire breathing dragon. I would like to see a gold to green duochrome for the dragon’s eyes. Is anybody else thinking like that?
But it’s the Dragon’s Eye not the dragon. The neutral colours and sparkles make sense 🐲
The picture of the dragon's eye on the front cover is green not neutral! They set us up for the expectation of lots of green and then didn't fulfill it 🤣

It needed to be jewelled toned. Dragons, to me, evoke opulent medieval tones. This feels more "fairy". Pretty, but doesn't fit the theme.
