Fortunately, they don't have much choice but to do their job on this one. If that needle doesn't go in his arm, her future political aspirations will be done in TX. Even a reelection to DA in 2024 may be a lot harder than it would normally be. With the anti cop & border issues as politically charged as they are, you can bet that this will be front and center both statewide (and nationally) from now until Nov.
I am so deeply sorry about this communities direct loss but this officer is a loss to the entire United States of America because these officers have been confronted with a continuous invasion from our southern border right there where they live and they have been dealing with this kind of threat daily for over a year now . There's no reason whatsoever other than this admin inviting this kind of criminal in and they did with absolutely no regard for human life, no remorse for the danger our country has been placed in directly because of their choice to allow this in 1st place . Just another senseless loss that'll affect so many lives but should've never ever happened... Will they close our borders now and let law enforcement loose to do whatever they need to and remove all individuals that shouldn't be here just like this killer ????

Houston has lotsa problem's with violence and it's not new a few years ago there was a city block in center of town that the police stayed away from it as it served as a sanctuary kinda for criminal's and drug user's, but it may have saved other area's by allowing it but it's unthinkable today unlike "chaz" city show's how the concept is unuseable for most folk's and they're the victim's from everyside...if they would jump up and solve other violent crimes they may just cut it back to like it used to be sorta...
