It is a great documentary of our national hero. It was kinda sad to watch that Jose Rizal felt that it’s his responsibility to protect and save the whole country and our fellow filipinos and when Jose Rizal said that “kung uulitin ko ang aking buhay, uulitin ko ang lahat ng aking ginawa” you can feel how patriotic and nationalistic he is. You can feel his love and dedication for our Country. And we realized that Jose Rizal help us how to understand and to think critically because of his advocacy which is the peaceful reforms instead of revolution.
It's truly moving to see the impact that Jose Rizal had on the Philippines and its people. His dedication and sacrifice for the greater good are truly inspiring. Watching this documentary reminded me of the importance of gratitude towards our heroes and the struggles they endured for freedom.

Great documentary of our great Hero. Sad to say, but there are still countries in this century who needs men like Jose Rizal. Hats off for the good actors and actresses who performed in this film. Thank you so much for your wonderful work.👏👏👏

I was so thankful to Rizal kasi siya ang dahilan kung bakit may pagmamahal ako sa ating bayan.
"Where the faith cannot kill" Because of his love for this country he gave everything and serves every Filipino. Wala man syang espada sa labanan but Dr. Jose Rizal is more than just a weapon, he has his heart to offer and that heart was already given for this country.

Great job production team! watching for academic purpose and now I had a better perspective how our national hero proved his title. 30 mins of watching was worthy of my time. Thank you so much po!
My most admired Filipino..up to this day,i still felt indebted to this man..he was there, suffered and died for the liberty of my motherland, and here i am,enjoying and freely breathing the air of freedom.

Never Rizal will give up or look up to Spain ....nakakalungkot that we don't know our history The truth about Rizal will also reveal the truth about his beloved country
Excerpt from Rizal’s El Filibusterismo: "You ask for equal rights, the Hispanization of your customs, and you don't see that what you are begging for is suicide, the destruction of your nationality, the annihilation of your fatherland, the consecration of tyranny ! What will you be in the future ? A people without character, a nation without liberty - everything you have will be borrowed, even your very defects! You beg for Hispanization, and do not pale with shame when they deny it you!”---Jose Rizal, El Filibusterismo Few of us know that Rizal wrote what he witnessed: Only few were the Spanish speakers in the Philippines. "Spanish will never be the general language of the country, the people will never talk it, because the conceptions of their brains and the feelings of their hearts cannot be expressed in that language - each people has its own tongue, as it has its own way of thinking! What are you going to do with Castilian, the few of you who will speak it ? Kill off your own originality, subordinate your thoughts to other brains, and instead of freeing yourselves, make yourselves slaves indeed !” ---Jose Rizal
I'm very thankful for Rizal for all the sacrifices that he did to fight for our motherland. This is the reason why I am ashamed of my generation because most of them don't really appreciate the hardships of our fellow countrymen just to give the freedom they want for us "future generation". They are busy embracing others culture.
I'm glad that i watch this... ang sarap lang manood ng ganitong video laking tulong at talaga namang nakakaantig bawat kwento...

I'm glad to watch this video, The story was great and full of rizals sentiments.😭nakakantig sa puso. He loves so much for our country, Dami na nyang nagawa sa Buhay at sa bansa.
Dear National Historical Commission of the Philippines, thank you very much for making this portrait of José Rizal and for sharing his spirit, which is by the way nicely illustrated and includes touching moments. I would be glad if you can include some links or references in the description or in a comment for more information about the two books of this incredibly versatile, passionate and dutiful person, which you've shown in this UA-cam-Video. I appreciate every recommendation of several translated versions each of the two books and serious internet links to websites which are full of information about culture and ethic of the philippines and also highly recommended from you. José Rizal and his spirit is inspiring and also intellectually enriching for every one, including the people who want to know more than just about the beautiful landscapes, food and nice people of the philippines. Maraming salamat po. Stay healthy and positive in these acutely difficult times.
Our society at the present is the same society re-created by Rizal in Noli and Fili over a century ago, (which his generation dispelled through the Philippine War of Independence); but eventually reclaimed to haunt us today--through US colonization and dehumanization-which our country went through by dispelling our imagination, dispelling our culture, dispelling our golden age and civilization-thus dispelling our humanity. Jose Rizal strove to instill imagination, instill culture, instill our humanity through his life and works as our path to liberty. As any artist desires, his aim was not only for our country to endure, but ultimately to prevail. Rizal`s masterpiece is not just the novels Noli, Fili or his swan song, the poem Mi Ultimo Adios--which are the Foundational Texts of our War of Independence, the first Republic of the Philippines and the US Recognition of Philippine Independence on July 4,1946--but the author of the Republic of the Philippines itself. His greatest masterpiece will never realize its full manifestation as long as we continue to deny ourselves our imagination, our culture, and our humanity- withheld from us because of colonial mentality-which dehumanized generations of Filipinos, and detached us from our own language, our own culture, and a genuine Philippine civilization which was realized by the generation of Jose Rizal- drawn from our own innate sense of invincibility and genius.
It is not wrong to express ourselves in the language we are most comfortable with but if we are emphasizing apoint of loving one's country and having loyalty to her, I think it would be appropriate to speak in our native tongue. In the manner you wrote it seemed that you abhor the US intervention in our country yet you speak their language. We have benefitted from our knowledge of speaking and writing English, the reason why Filipinos are sought more than any other nationality in the world in terms of job placement. "Love of country can never be erased once it has entered the heart for it carries with it a divine stamp that is eternal and imperishable." Dr. Jose Rizal Let us not hate other countries because life becomes deeper, wiser, more meaningful when we learn to share it with others. The foreign colonizations are God ordained, thus making us better Filipinos in the end. If Rizal said, Hail! timid flower I add to that, Bloom Philippines!
May Pascual para maka inti di ang mga filipino by nationality but western influence. yan bakit sya nag salita nang inglis. ikaw rin nag sasalita ka ng ingles. hehe. the so called millenials ay wala nang paki sa ka saysayan ng bansa natin. from spanish colonization ww1 ww2 until sa problema sa mindanao. and questons for broader knowledge. kulang na po ang mga pag iisip nang mga pilipino. specially upper middle class. and with mixed blood. fil chinese. or filipino -am minds. or OFW in the west. etc.. we must bring back our patriotism in our land. and none will use it but us.
I was expecting a biographical story about Rizal’s life. This isn’t, it is more of an analysis of other historians about his thoughts and inner convictions.

Thanks for uploading..Now I'm ready for next semester hahaha
excellent video
Jose Rizal
Let us not hate other countries because life becomes deeper, wiser, more meaningful when we learn to share it with others. The foreign colonizations are God ordained, thus making us better Filipinos in the end. If Rizal said, Hail! timid flower I add to that, Bloom Philippines!
one of the agendas of mason is to distroy our patriotism in ouur oun country. sbolish of nationalism.

Ako . Life of rizal Subject namin😅👌🏻 brief analysis
Haha, same here. Life of Rizal. 😂😂😂
I was expecting a biographical story about Rizal’s life. This isn’t, it is more of an analysis of other historians about his thoughts and inner convictions.
I'm here because of my Rizal class heheheheh 🤗
